Gday Seeshell. This would originally have been a full bodied coach.(Nope,2007 build) Original types of these coaches/buses were built under licence by Ansett in the bus ops div (Ansair).Originating from the States by The Flexible Sidecar Co who would copyright a name change deleting the first "E" from its name. Apparently like vin vans there are still some lurking about (barn/shed.Was some talk in other circles a couple are down Geelong way? cheers

Hi Franivy. What JBJ is referring to is the bracketing he made to mount his wheel on the rear of his van.The unit pictured has a removeable shaft which allows for different dia winders to be used.Extended drop of chain:635mm/2`-1". Wound up without wheel attached: 150mm/6".(approx measurements).Centre to centre of fixing bolts (top): 70mm/2-3/4". To attach this sort of mechanism a length of steel angle would be bolted along cross member. Then the unit. Various styles of these units differ in the shape/width of the wheel holding bracket. So if you choose this method, measure the diameter of your wheel centre to allow the bracket to slip through & pull up flush. Wrecking yards/4wd outlets or spare parts outlets may have these.cheers

Hi Alex.Welcome to the forum. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder & likewise what a prospective buyer is prepared to pay. It`s not something that`s discussed here as there`s many variables unlike vintage cars which have a more specific value. Comes down to whatever one is prepared to pay.Maybe look at what people have paid on here to give you an idea. cheers

Glad to hear all you guys from either side of the borders got through the storms ok. Mate flew in from Cape Flattery mine site (one pole damaged!) to Innisfail via Cairns & found his house was still standing with only one window shade blown off. Larry took the roof off last time.cheers

Hi Oldbits.Welcome to the Forum. I`m pretty sure your van is other than what you believe it to be. "Styleline" stickers used to be put on a lot of vans that were sold out from a melb dealers yard.Click our Down History Lane section then alphabetically first header:Caravan & Topic Index. Oh, and pics would be a help. You might also check the stamped or welded number on the drawbar.Maybe some scribbles behind/under drawers or on back of cupboards for a start. cheers gordon

Best mate lives right on the Goondi Bend in Innisfail.Survived Larry a few years ago with only a few roofing sheets lifting. Not so sure his house will be as lucky this time.Only saving grace for himself this time is he`s landlocked on a mine site & no flights being scheduled home. cheers gordon

Hi Larapinta. Real nice teardrop & history. Pricings are not discussed on the Forum (forms part of our Rules). It comes down to what you figure is a good price & what prospective buyer is prepared to pay. As for Photobucket: Open its page.See along top bar "Upload Now" tab.LEFT click & new page opens.LEFT click"Select photos & videos" tab.(that should open where you have your computer pics).Select the pic you want.Click "OPEN". It has now been uploaded to P/Bucket.Then you can either click on "UPLOAD MORE FILES" or "SAVE & CONTINUE".Once done there, you will see the pic uploaded to your P/Bucket album/s.Select the pic you want, mouse over & a drop-down window appears.LEFT click "IMG CODE".Go to the relevant section in our forum reply & RIGHT click. A drop-down window appears.LEFT click "PASTE" & the photo info line appears in your reply.Press ENTER tab on computer after each INFO line to allow a continued scroll of pics. You can of course type relevant text re each pic but hit ENTER each time after doing so. It`s a strange animal P/B but you`ll get the gist of it after a couple of times. cheers gordon
