Gday Seeshell. This would originally have been a full bodied coach.(Nope,2007 build) Original types of these coaches/buses were built under licence by Ansett in the bus ops div (Ansair).Originating from the States by The Flexible Sidecar Co who would copyright a name change deleting the first "E" from its name. Apparently like vin vans there are still some lurking about (barn/shed.Was some talk in other circles a couple are down Geelong way? cheers

There were about a dozen of those Ansett buses, beautifully restored to both original condition and also as motorhomes which participated in an historic truck run up the hume from the Liverpool crossroads to Gundagai about a month ago. They were for my mind the most spectacular vehicles of the run. The trucks and buses travelled the old hume route thru Picton, Mittagong, Berrima, Yass etc. The old semis and other trucks were a real sight as well. jennison

Hi Seeshell My brother saw this van at a show a while back and sent me photos of it. He spoke to the owner and it is in fact a custom built van built entirely from scratch to look like the Flexibl, as reflected in the asking price Nice to have that sort of time, dedication and finances George

The owner is a Flxible Clipper enthusiast and built the caravan from scratch. Guess he had the pattern in his yard already.... as he owns at least one Flxible bus. Very interesting history if you take time to google Ansair Flxible Clippers or just Flxible Clippers Some photos for those that are interested. www.busaustralia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=51868I regularly watch this video and drool www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw9BYu6BqJoSadly to do one up properly would be in the vicinity of $200,000 Would be a great project though Cheers Atog
