I have one of those the same as you got at Ballarat in a modern van , the connection at the table end has no movement at all .the floor connection has a small amount of movement , The base will need to be fitted to a floor with absolutely no flexing around the table fitting .
cheers kel.

Far-Canal Doug . you organised all that trouble just to give us a good story to read ,well done , you can sleep well now knowing that we are really enjoying the story and all that trouble was worth it . . and i guess that i should have known to get a coffee and a cut lunch before i started reading .
cheers Kel.

here is a photo of our FNQ Easter get together at Malanda with Wilson and Bruce's unbelievably comfortable 77 Pontiac Bonneville , and John & Paula's red and white Sunliner and 65 Buick Wildcat . and our ( Coral & Kels ) green Sunliner , our 60 Pontiac is out of the shot , On the other side of the trees is the Malanda falls ,and the sound of the falls all weekend was awesome . Good company -food and a few tasty beverages made the 4 days go to fast . kel.

As good batteries are $400 and good 200w solar panels are $230 i would suggest that you get more panel and less batteries so the panels can run what you need during the day and charge the batteries at the same time , with the power left over the batteries will get fully charged which is what you need for the nite time power use . i have just done this on a modern van and needed the gen set one day in a month . 2 x 200w panels and 2 x 100 amp hour batteries , to many ins and outs and ups and downs to discuss solar set ups on a forum . you need to see a retailer and tell them what you need to run , but the problem is every one will give you a different answer/opinion . cheers kel.

Not a good guess Reddo ,, 2up you have the river right but not the place , but as i asked for the river you have it ,its your turn , go for it ,,
the place is about 15 klm east of Charters towers , called Macrossan next to the Flinders Hwy .

SOME TIME AGO I PUT A POST HERE ABOUT A TYRE THAT FLEW APART ON MY VAN THIS TIME IT IS ON ONE OF MY TOW CARS , Some of you will already know how to date a tyre ,but fort those who do not here it is again ,Below is a picture of a tyre that i got from Antique Tyre Melb , when i ordered the tyres the sales guy told me the tyres would not be more than 6 months old from the date of manufacture , in the photo you can see 0712 ( this will be on all tyres ,but may be on only one side of the tyre ) that is the 7th week in 2012 , easy isn't it . not happy . these were 18 months old when i got them . I have just ordered more tyres but from another supplier . if you do not do many miles you need to buy new ,new tyres not the ones that have been in the shelf for a year or two ,it seems that they have a life of around 6-7 years . this just happened when the car was parked ,the tyre was 9 years old ..it was still holding air , good luck ,, kel.

I would think that if those vans are in Europe that the doors would be on the side that we can see . most likely a right hand drive country ,, but then again i have been known to be wrong . kel.
