You lot might get a photo op to remember whilst in BH. Nicole Kidman is up there for the next month or so shooting a movie. Could be another chance for cobbers celebrity VV to grab the limelight. Jenno HA ! Look who's talking I'm taking # 3 in my celebrity stable to BH ( the Swamp Van ) so Nicole won't be interested in posing with that one..... not when she sees some of the other class acts that are going to the Nationals, I saw one of them yesterday, just beautiful Cobber.

G'day yspinner,
I only paid last week, not because I thought I might die before the event but.... because I forgot
No problems, they understood and were OK with it.
I hope you are able to get to the Nationals, just being there will make you feel better

Would ya arold ? .. there's some other embarrassing shots on that video too ... like the bloke with his head in a dunny seat ... like the bloke 'proposing' to his missus ( you probably don't remember that one ) Sir Albert ( the DVD can be bought.... for a tidy sum )

G'day f/f,
how many DVDs do we have time for ?
I'll bring a couple more English ones ... 'Classic Caravans on Show' which is about one of the 'Historic Caravan Clubs' rallies.... another English one 'Classic Caravans and Motor Homes' that has a bit about VW camper vans.... and an Aussie one about the 48 & FJ Holden Club's '1994 Great Caravan Caper'
And let's not forget the great DVD's made for us by dav01 of our Vintage Caravan forums 2010 Nationals at Mildura and, 2012 Nationals at Cowra, some newer members wouldn't know those DVDs existed.
Cobber.
BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE !
I've just re-discovered footage of the vintagecaravans.com 2006 'East Coast Tour' including a demonstration of the way 'Fugly' folds up and... a certain Driftw^^€ driving off with the door open And finishes up at Coledale 'party night' 2006.

Yes..........I've put it on my 'watch' list too, definitely one to interest a 'vintage caravan enthusiast'.
The style keeps popping up on the forum and always creates discussion as to whether it's a 'Home Beautiful' design or not.
have a look here and Here or just do search on 'Home Beautiful' to find other examples of this van.

Well done Boots. We sure are lucky to have our own paparazzi helping us promote our hobby aye ? It's true 'cute' is all the rage at the moment, but having vans like the Dee Jay seen in magazines, and on show at events like the Nationals, might help find a buyer eventually. I suspect plenty of people might like the van but....... having a suitable tow car would limit the market. Good luck with your quest to sell the van, in the mean time I welcome even more competition in the 'show off' arena Cobber

G'day JBJ, Yep she was a good doo, comparatively speaking only a small gathering, don't think there would have been more than twenty vans there (would that be right ?) Anyway.....From little things big things grow I remember Reddo was a bit slow getting involved in the floor show (can't imagine why that would be ) but when he did, I was sitting near his son who said " you won't get rid of him now he's started" How about the kerfuffle over the bloke who was copying photos off the forum and putting 'em on a disk for sale, did we ever find out who that was ? Anyway Cobber.

Don't rush 'em gypsy10 you have to wait until the screws aren't available anymore then......... somebody will want 'em Did he have small screws, say half inch or shorter, I think that's mostly what people want for cupboard hinges, inside trim bits etc. Cobber.

I'm confused ..how come I'm confusing people Morgan was in April 2006, f/f got to be a member in August 2006 so he wasn't at Morgan.... that's what I said Hellsbells said (in effect)... if you right click on Reddo's photo it will tell you what the photo is of in Reddo's photobucket label..... So that's why I called 'em both 'amateurs' Stop confusing me Cobber, (I think)

And here's me thinking I was lucky to get a shot with my wife in the picture
It certainly is a top spot though isn't it ?

Well done SGTL ,
Let us in on the secret... where did you find 'em... did a forum member come to the rescue ?
AND Mr. MODERATORS.... Do you reckon this entire thread would look good if it was tacked on to the end of the 'Stop, turn, tail lights' thread that is sticky in the tech section (That is If SGTL doesn't mind)
