Blind since birth,(Sir)George Shearing was hugely popular from the 50s through to the 90`s.Passed away aged 91 in 2011.Likewise,drummer John Harrison Brinck (Lost Weekend Western Swing Band).

SGTL, you certainly have a keen eye for all things vintage van related!
I picked up a copy of this album at a record fair and i must admit it was probably the cover which drew me to it.
A good record nonetheless!

Great version - I've never seen anyone alter the tuning of bongos by blowing through a rubber tube!
