Gday E.J. Ray I think that we will leave the dints in the van,the only economic way of removing them would be to reskin with new alloy I would prefer to stay with the original skinning as i dont really want to see the condition of the van underneath :owhich may very well be good hoping to get the van registered in the next couple of weeks so that it is ready for the festival of flight fly-in at the end of august at watts bridge airfield in the picturesque brisbane valley ;D ;D catch you later matt

The first time we took the trardrop out was to a fly in at Watts Bridge, one of our other vintage plane members said he has a van like ours but a little bigggggger in his sheed. (Lets face it, just about anything would be bigger). We said sold.
I have heard that some people will do just about anything to get portholes, so I guess Matt and I have been very lucky ;D ;D ;D Two vans booth with portholles thats 4 portholles all up, not to bad.

We will take you up on that offer if we get down your way. And if you get up to herer the air is hot pop in to our place. We have not gotten a toung for the car yet as we wont to see just where she sits before we get one. That is one of the last things to do, that and getting the lights to blike the USA way to match the car.. We are going to Calhope (in land from Gladstno) The to Raglan (under Rocky) to the Old Station Flying Club Fly In. It is a fly in in a cow field. We are there for just over 1 week. Then off to Airlie Beach for a few days before going out on a 1902 tall ship to do jack ;D (3d 3n) . Back to Airly for a few more days then 2 day trip back home again. In August we are going to a place called Watts Bridge (Toogoolawah). It is a old WWII air field and we hold the 2ed largest fly in in Australin there on the last weekend of August (Queensland Vintage Areoplane Group). This event always has lots of car's, bikes, trucks and some vans to have a look at as well as the plains. It is my job to send the invertations out for that side of things so if you would like to be put on the mailing list just say so. I was thinking of putting it on the events bord, what do you think? There is camping, hot showers, flushing loooos, bar for when you get thirsty, lost of food and lost of things to see all weekend. It runs for 3 days. Suzann

We are going to put a new frame under her now so we will also cut the body and put in a flap so it all sits neet still, but you can get the flat out from under it. She will not be coming with us this trip as the frame will take to long to do and we leave on the 4th of July. So her first outing will be in August. The jack we cary is a very big one, seing as it has to lift the 71 Ford Ranchero Pickup LHD that we have as our every day car.

The things some people will do to get a porthole. Just do what Matt and I do.Get a van with them already in it. Well if it will help you sleep at night, go for it. I do hope you didn't get the Wolseley just for the headlight rim.. because that would be a bit desperate.. ;D ;D ;D

Matt and I were given Yes ;D ;D "GIVEN" ;D ;D a copy of this book in very good condition from a man that I chatted to at the Allora over the Australia Day weekend. He said that he would drop it in next time he was going past our place. I had forgotten all about it until we got back from Winter Sun and there it was ;D with a little note just reminding me when I had chatted to him and that he had said that it may be a wile before he got near my place. He left only his first name so I could not get hold of him to thank him for the book. I must admit that I had no idea that it was worth so much, and I must say that i would not pay that much for one.
