Suzann. PS:- Earlee, we now also own a Holden. I still prefer the Val, but it is not your usual Holden, it was built in Brisbane.

Hi all Well what a weekend away we all had. Reddo was not the only one who had a bit of bother with the van he took. Although Redo was the only one who was able to collect rain water inside his van. You can see the water running down the walls, and his heater trying to dry out enough of the bed to sleep on. This was us leaving our place on Thursday with our 2nd van, only getting rego on Monday. We arrived and set up the new van. it was the first time we were going to use it and expected a few minor problems. She towed like a dream and every one along the way gave us the thumbs up. We found out that know matter what you do, Matt at 6ft 7 will just not fit in a van that is only 5th 8 wide. So we had to take her all the way home and get the Teardrop with the queen size bed, to ensure we could get a good night's sleep. And people said that when we got the new van up and running we would never go back to the Teardrop I can not describe the number of cars out and about for Wintersun. Lets just say that this event is so big that it has its own radio station. As you can see in this photo the roads and parks are just full of cars. Wintersun is over near the middle and to the left of the photo. It's good to hear that Reddo made it home safe and sound, and it was great meeting up with Mr and Mrs Kingy, Mr and Mrs Spyder. it was also great catching up with the others that usualy come along on South East QLD events. PS:- Especially the contingent that came down from Cairns.... ;D ;D ;D Hey Dennis.. Suzann and Matt.

Matt and I are very keen to catch up with you all again. Earlier Earlee said on an earlier thread he has a friend who looks after the Rathdowney Caravan Park who is a vintage caravan nut... Could possibly be a good place to go for a weekend.

Hello non earlee one. I do believe it was you who ended up A over T on the ground after following Schultzy's lead in mixing JBJ and Schnapps. I am not supprised that you don"t remember this fact as you had had quite a few drinks. and it showed by the fact that you did not emerge from your little dark van until well into the arvo. All in all a top weekend and we can't wait to do it all again. PS:- Matt made deposit on the new vintage van today we should have it by next weekend and photos soon. And yes we can stand up in it ;D ;D ;D ;D ::)but I think I like the teardrop better. The Bakers

Thinking about it mabye Earlee has just hit his head on Santa's window. I think that port hole's may be a better option. Jailbar has a pretty good idea where to get some PORTHOLES ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi
We got home and a few minutes later there was a knock on the door. A very nice man in a police uniform was standing there. It would appear someone was a little concerned about the foot hanging out the back kitchen area and notafied the police, who just had to investagate. They left with smiles on there faces. They did not say not to do it again so the foot stays. I will post photos soon. We had a great time at Fingal, looking forward to doing it all again some time soon. Wintersun sounds like a good time. But sometime sooner would be ok too.. ;D ;D ;D
