Just a reminder as we are now in 2018 which means that we are getting closer to the next Historic Winton (Fri 25 - Sun 27 May 2018). So all you car and motorbike enthusiasts come along and join us displaying your vans. It is a great opportunity to watch these old machines racing around the track and enjoy great racing atmosphere.
Soon I will be putting out a call for numbers so pencil it into your calender.

Sorry to hear about the damaged roof, i'm sure you will do a great job fixing it up.

Hi Don, as I work in an industrial estate I sure have, and I do admire how they can get it into some near impossible spots given the space, very impressive indeed....
I know that when I have free camped and shared these type of parking areas I have always tried to park well out of the way to allow them plenty of room. I just hope its none of us vintage vanners ever cause our truckie mates any issues.

There is a great little video clip at www.whitelinetv.com/caravaners-truckies-sharing-parking-bays/ which opens your eyes to the efects of parking in the rest areas with the trucks. Do have a look (also contains a cute little van which looks familiar???...) And remember to consider the truck who need to use the rest areas by giving them plenty of space as you get out and about this summer.

Ideas... I would probably leave the dints if they are not leaking and fill them from the top if the look is an issue, at the end of the day it is on the roof and not very visible. otherwise you could gently tap them out a bit with a panel beaters hammer and dolly - although a bit tricky, then fill the top soothe. Some others here might have more experience with tin. Also I do know there are paintless dint removal companies that use a high powered vacuum to suck the dints back into shape, usually on cars, they can do up to a credit card size dint, but it is a little pricey but may be worth inquiring about.
