hi reddo
geez, only 10 vans - that makes it a bit tough.
we're not going to the nats so we'd be looking forward to meeting up with the group up there.
either time is ok but the week after mothers day is our choice.
maybe with a bit of negotiating with the council/elec mob we could get a "special dispensation" regarding numbers - especially since we are a "special interest group".
worth a shot anyway.

wow !!!!!!!!!
that 's a real old piece of aussie history - and with the original story told by the second owners.
you said you were excited and so you should be.
what about kingy's question - restore or not - tough one to answer.
either way, you;ve got youself a treasure reddo.

hi dennis
the old girl is gunna be as good as the day it came off the line after all these repairs.
it didn't look like it had that much rust in it before - amazing what you find when you start getting into it.
she's coming along well.
it's a big job, that's for sure.

hi adam
absolutely no different to the day i got it home.
much to the dissapointment of many others, i haven't been inspired to do anything to it yet.
as they say, it won't happen overnight - but it will happen.

hi chris
i'm suprised that there are threads there with the last response from as far back as april and november.
"whatever" was listed as being an area where threads would "self delete" if they weren't responded to after a short period of time. (can't remember the time period but i think it was a month or two).
maybe f/f or jbj can confirm about that.

hi humpty we had the same (sort of) trouble with our cannon and pc. the pc would recognise that a device was connected but wouldn't recognise that it was a cannon bla bla bla and wouldn't upload the photos to photoshop/my pictures. i rang cannon and they said to try a usb on the back of the computer instead of the front usb. problem solved and now uploads ok. they said that the front usb's sometimes have a voltage drop across them that causes the problem? geoff

hi all
judy and i have had some discussions and due to a number of reasons, we have decided not to go to the nationals this year, so that means our involvement in the "meander down the murray" will not continue.
we're sorry to have to tell you this news, but that's the way it is.
if anyone else wants to continue with the organisation of the meander, we'd be happy to help where we can.
sorry about that,

hi foxy
do what humpyboy said but don't use the 'img code' for your avatar.
the avatar requires the 'direct link' to be copied and pasted to the avatar field of your profile.
(you may need to change to width/height sizes to make it look correct).
good luck

hi dbar2 about your photos. if you attach photos to your post, they can be seen in the original thread but not in the 30 most recent posts mode. the (best) way we include photos is using photobucket as a host and including a "link" to your photobucket account. to see instructions on how this can be done click here.good luck - it's a bit tricky at first, but once you get the knack of it, it's a cinch. geoff
