Well, it's with no regret our van is no longer grey in colour ....well almost. The only reason it went grey in the first place was we thought it would suit the EH........also grey, but with ongoing issues with the original paint cracking, it was time for a makeover. God how i miss me shed, the jobs gone really well, but not having everything on hand makes the job a little frustrating. Van should be finished in around a week or so, and we will leave Tamworth not long after........WE think...i'm still working, and i need a break ;D Anyway wadda think, better than the dull grey hey Note the makeshift shed Kingy

G'day Kingy,
The Supalite looks great in its new livery. I liked the match between the van and your car, but the new look really suits the van.
I'm amazed at the finish you've achieved in makeshift conditions. Congratulations.

Amazing how the use of red has given your van alot more grounding, and presence. What a lovely looking van, and so sharp.
Good on you Des and Kel

Hi Kingy's.......when I first saw your van at Berry I was almost gobsmacked......beautiful bondy with a lot of detail inside & out! I loved the colour scheme & the polished 'D' moulds etc... I loved some of the personal touches & inventions I hadn't seen before. I think that the red divider would have looked awesome against the grey paint But with a neutral colour (white) you'll never go wrong........like they say "A new colour change is as good as a holiday) Is the EH going to be next Adam

Hi Kingy. Wow,what a neat look it`s been given. Better upgrade the Eh brakes now that you`ve got that 'go-fast red'! Looks like you been spying around Reddos` 'shed of invention' with that annex & chain thingy too! cheers gordon

Thanks Guy's, I'm happy that i'd decided to go ahead with the job even though it'd be exposed to the elements........weather was more than kind to me ;D. Clyde, if i'd known you liked the grey so much we would have left it the way it was.........NOT ;D Thanks also Adam, ya don't do a bad job yourself ....and as for a colour change on the EH - can't see it happening, at least while we're traveling ;D ;D Geoff, That thing hang'in out the window would be best thing we've bought since we left....Just ask Mez ;D Cobber, grey is good truely - i just needed a change, honest Cheers Kingy

;D Hi kingy and Mez when I saw your first van at Coledale there was something about the van that made it extra special even the mettallic look green cupboards the cupbaords and the storage system I will call it the Kingy Factor and I think the one you are working on right has got the same thing it is one of a kind and it certaintly has the kingy Factor it looks fantastic looking forward to your visit to WA very best regards Will and Lyn ps thanks for your thoughts on the airstrean video

Hi Will & thanks, actually i think it was yourself who some time back mentioned a product that reflects heat off surfaces which is mainly used on roofs.............Well, i've gone the same way but used it over the entire van. It's classed as a ''membrane'' (acrylic) which was applied with a smaller than usual roller and has a very thick consistancy.........but goes on really well, giving a textured semi gloss finish. Time will tell how it wears, but i'm very pleased with the result so far. ......Never thought i'd stray from spraying with enamel It's possibly a different product to what you mentioned, this one consists of glass particles to reflect, just gotta hope we don't get to cold inside the van this summer ;D ;D ;D Kingy
