HI I am new to this forum and always had an interest in vintage caravans.
I am looking for a small plywood van from the 50s, I would like to restore it myself, however I would consider a nicely restored van.
I live in Penrith NSW.
I am not looking for a bargin, although that would be nice. I will pay the appropriate price for the right van.
Thanks
Phil

Good on you Phil.. you've got the right idea.
Keep an eye on this "for sale/wanted" forum.... and the ebay place ( they don't always get mentioned on this site)... but don't dilly dally when you see one, they get snapped up pretty quickly.
Good luck,
Cobber.

Phil Don't limit yourself to the little bondwoods as some of the small aluminiums are great little vans. My 68 Munro is a 10 foot from New Zealand and due to the colour most people think it is bondwood but it is aluminium skin with some timber underneath. In the small vans it is about 50/50 as to whether aluminium or bondwood come up. Keep watching here and ebay and you will find something. Rollydog

Philm, Check Dazzahds post on "little van wanted" yesterday at 1.45 - 11 footer located in NSW. Sounds like it needs no work and ready to roll
