Just back from a great week away at Shell Harbour and looking forward to next year there. No photos....as they have all been covered....but a little story of adventure? Some of you may have seen the little red Country Club in the photos and been wondering who owned it......ME! You may also notice that the tow vehicle looks like a hired ute.....very observant of you. Well.....on our trip down we decided to leave a day early and overnight at Appin before leisurely driving down to Shell Harbour the next day, but as the Scottish say, the best made plans "oft gwin awry". I did notice a puff of white smoke and a reluctance to change into top gear from the automatic trans as I tried to match traffic speed at Casula......however the next morning at Appin, I only had 1st gear and nothing else @&^$#*^!!! A good Samaritan offered to tow the van down to Shell Harbour and I accompanied my 'new' car back on the tilt-tray to Campbelltown. Got a call yesterday from him..."box is completely bu#$%%^^ed, and could cost a couple of thousand"...BTW its a BW35. At least I'll have a near new gearbox! My car.....and no I haven't got any photos yet! is a 1956 Ford Country Sedan (read Ford Customline 8 seater station wagon)....made RHD in Canada specially for the Snowy Mountains Scheme. The colour matches the Country Club van ie red and white. When I get it home I will take photos. But we didn't let that spoil a great week away Thanks Geoff & Jude

I have been towing my sunliner since 2006 with my EH station wagon....179 unmodified...with the 'highlydramatic' transmission. I have no complaints about the performance of the engine or the transmission and repeat .....unmodified. I have only once had the transmission serviced and don't run an oil cooler....but I have one here ready to fit. This is coming from a Ford lover

Which window rubbers are you looking for specifically......the ones that go on the aluminium window frame, which you can get from forum member 'Tonyh'
or is it the one to hold the Perspex in at the front and the rear Code from spectrum for that one is 218.100 DM508 F2606
