Hello I am really hoping someone has three chrome plated brass hinges lying in their shed that I could purchase. There were three missing from the cabinets when I bought my sunliner last August. imgur.com/T9uYvIeYou can see image by clicking on link above. Sorry haven't figured out photobucket yet. Dimensions are 5.5cm length x 3cm width (in the widest part) Keeping my fingers crossed Thanks Gabby aka @sunliner62 (instagram)

These are available new in chrome or polished brass from "Brass& Knobs" in Hallam, Melbourne, Victoria. They need to be ordered and paid for first and they will get them in for you. They are a 12mm offset. I needed 19mm so used a 7mm space. worked perfect. Oh and a pair cost me $70 and it took a week for them to come in. knobsandbrass.com.au/ for contact details (Website coming soon)

Hi gabby. I have a couple of spare press button handles if you run short. Also a restorer gave me a card of a company that you can go direct for hinges. They were half the price of our restoration place. I will search for that card! If I can't locate it I will ring the guy tomorrow if you like? Good luck Anita.

This is what I found at the restoration place. Sorry about the photo. When I took one of mine in, it was a perfect fit.

G'day Sage60a, That Fragments Restoration Shop looks like a top spot, thanks for the tip. I've added them to the Restoration parts suppliers list in the cupboard hardware section ....which is getting big enough to be unmanageable It does have a few suppliers of these hinges listed including this one .... maybe it's getting too hard to find stuff there Cobber.

Hi cobber. They are usually pretty pricey, but when I saw the other comment mentioning $70 I nearly died. I reckon it was a typo! Being in tassie we really don't have a lot of options unless you go online. I wanted to make sure they were the perfect match so was great to find them in there. The suppliers that are listed on the forum here have been so helpful in my little restoration. Thanks Anita

Hi Everyone I am a very very happy sunliner owner right now! Thanks Anita and redmr2red. Cobber, can't beat $4.50 each. Today has been a huge win day in sunliner restoration. May have tracked down the right profile window rubbers, was given a freebie aluminium window frame which may 'fit' the sunliner, the hinges of course, found some great cupboard handles in a local store. Yesterday I got a bit disillusioned but I'm back on the horse! Thanks again Gabby

They are cast brass, quite substantial thickness and either polished brass or chrome plated (which we all know is not cheap). I didn't want the cheap pressed metal ones which are OK for cupboards. Mine were for an Ice Chest. Before paying $70 a pair ........ I'd bought two old Ice Chests $50 and $20 plus a 100km trip to pick one up, but none of the diecast hinges were suitable and I could get anyone to re-chrome them. So I did what I shouda done first off and paid $70 and I'm very pleased now with the result.

Gabby, don't expect a great lifespan out of those nickel plated steel hinges. I fitted two sets of brand new hinges to the lift-up seat lids in my project about a year ago. Fresh out of the packet, they were. They were the flush, or flat, style - not the offset style. Anyhoo, one of them is already showing signs of surface rusting, and I haven't even finished my project yet.
These hinges really are a case of "you get what you pay for..."
I've decided mine are now a temporary measure, until I come across some decent nickel or chrome plated brass versions.
cheers, Al.

Hi heywok try Spectrum rubbers in Sydney or Scott's Old Rubbers in Oakleigh Victoria. I'm getting some samples sent up of three different profiles. If I get a match I'll let you know what profile. Cheers Gabby

Which window rubbers are you looking for specifically......the ones that go on the aluminium window frame, which you can get from forum member 'Tonyh'
or is it the one to hold the Perspex in at the front and the rear Code from spectrum for that one is 218.100 DM508 F2606

Thanks Humpty2! I just got a sample from Spectrum Rubber of 218.034 which looks really similar to the original. I haven't tested it on the van yet with the new perspex windows.
If its no good, I'll get a sample of 218.100 sent up (I am in Byron Bay) wish I could just pop in there and have a look!
Did you try other profiles first that didn't work, or did someone advise you on the 218.100? Gabby
