when i drove big rigs i used brasso with a dash of kero take about 40 mm out of brasso and add kero polish eather with a rag or polisher and wipe clean works great and fast

this mite sound funny i use my 4 inch grinder like a saw, i have made a work top using some scrap timber and cut a hole with my trusty jig saw than i fitted my grinder with 1mm disc into it like a saw from underneath, than i can run ply through it and every cut looks factory circles i'm not sure about,i did use a metal blade in the jig saw it cut cleaner oh i nearly forgot i can fit my jigsaw blades upside down and it cuts on the down stroke hAPPY SAWING

don't know if this advice is any help,i know a couple of friends what have bought the van of there dreams with water damage,they went to there local mens shed and asked if they could help with a new fit out,and i must say looks good just an idea

there is a product in ply called bendy ply it can bend eather way long ways or across ,ask your local timber supplier or bunnings it makes this type of work child easy

yep you all have it right the only good point is you carry a spear set of brakes,if you take a look around wreckers you wll find a rod that fits across from shoe to shoe this wlil get both working,for the life of me i can't see why l,oh and get the spring with it
