Hey Sugarshack.. ya lurker "Bill" the Team Reddotel cattledog says ta tell "Trevor D Spaniel" that his Owner Wayne is dead set "Yella" and he cant build or drive a Billycart for nuts... Reckons Wayne and the Ford Billycart Co.. are a bunch of big time "LOSERS" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Geez that sounds a bit ruff, ruff Wayne .. is that true or not... Oh yeah.. he also mentioned that Sutcac should stick to knitting coat hanger covers for the markets instead of carting that half baked shopping trolley cart to Coledale again.... Whats that Bill???.. I can tell Cobber that his genuine 1962 lowered ironing board goes quicker uphill than it does downhill.. well at least Yvonne went faster on it that Cobber did last year... ;D Now...... Just gotta figure a way of keeping "MRFJ Split pin '55 Cole " out of the way so no one gets maimed or crippled I might leave now.. i reckon i have "baited" enough would be contenders for a rematch of derbying up in Coledale hieghts again this year..... Howdy Coledalers
Judy and I will be holidaying along the NSW coast for 2 weeks leading up to Coledale on a unplanned holiday stopping, well, wherever the wheels stop turning for the day. May go as far north as Brisbane but will be back south to Coledale 'maybe' by the thursday. May see other VVers along the track.

There will most likely be an historian(commissioned by SA caravan trades assoc) who is flying up from Sth Aust to attend Coledale in order to photograph and interview some of the VV setups and their owners. If you have any good memorabilia or manufacturers documentation relating to your VV please consider bringing it along. I will have confirmation of his attendance by Tuesday and will let you know then jennison UPDATE....I am sorry but Trevor(the historian) cannot make it to coledale but is still keen to hear from anyone who feels they can contribute , especially on SA VVs. I have his contact details

Hi to all Coledalers, I was thinking & that can often be a very dangerous thing and I thought maybe all the LADIES could get together on Saturday about 2.00pm for afternoon tea. We could raise some money for Breast Cancer by all donating a few dollars, a very worthwhile cause & a chance for a chat. For the BOYS, we were given some old wooden tent poles, plus a taller centre pole (complete with a very rotten hessian bag) and will sell them to the "highest bidder" on the Saturday with the money going into the Breast Cancer bucket. Anyone interested? ?? See you all soon Jude & Geoff

Hi Geoff & Jude
Sounds great to me.
but whuy not expand the mens side into a vintage van related "sell your bits".
We've all got bits left over we dont need. I've got hundreds of new slot head screws , that I can pack & sell for say 25% of new value.
I have Sunliner bits, surplus electric & air tools, etc.
We dont get swap meets often up here, & my shed's bulging at the seams.
Most of us should be similar.
I dont think many of us are on the breadline, so a donation to a good cause would be a good idea.
My only problem is fitting everything in that I'm thinking of bringing.
We are taking a few days caravanning on the way down, so I cant fill the van & Valiant too much.
But I think we should do something.
If anyone wants particular slot headed screws, let me know. I really have about 10 KG of surplus.
I have a Sunliner fibreglass water tank, & other bits.
I guess it will depend on what I can fit in Lucille & Valiant.

Hi Dennis & Sue,
Go for it, the more the better.
Our daughter Layla & her husband Andy (the one who usually feeds us) have just scored a free sunliner in serious need of work, if you can let me know by PM what bits you have we can probably take some of those bits & pieces for a price of course.
Guess who will be helping them restore it ;D ;D ;D

Hi Coledalelocal,
If you come down on Saturday most of the people there are happy to have a chat & show their vans - it gets quite busy at times, so wander on down

Hi All,
Well we're off tomorrow for Cold dale. Hopefully get there Wednesday arvo.
We had no luck selling our vans on Ebay , but thats no worry really.
Hopefully when we get away from our construction works & dust& continual noise, it will again be all good.
