Thats great news Jennison.... I would just like to thank everyone who has contacted the van park and made a booking. Tathra is a great part of the world. Sea water might be a bit cold at that time of year for a swim.... but the park has a pool for that early morning hangover plunge. As i have said before ... i will be happy to just go the park and spend a few days there again. A real bonus having a HUGE Covered BBQ area with 2 big roller doors on it. If it gets wet, windy, noisey .. ya just pull the doors down and party on ... Great part of the world with all you need for a few days relaxing. Easy run back to Bega or down to Eden if ya wanna go whale watching.etc if we get Frankie and the boys to pick up a guitar well that will be a bonus. Regards Reddo

Hi all you confirmed and prospective SOON TO BE CONFIRMED Tathra Toorists....Some good news, you don't have to just take my word for it ;D ............ the following is an email I received today ;D ;D ;D ...... "Hi Jeff, I have discussed the arrangements with Frankie J and we are all looking forward to the vintage van weekend. Frank is more than happy to perform on saturday evening. We will organise a great gig for the guests. I have seen Frank in action many times and I guarantee it will be a night to remember so spread the word - and we will see you on the 5th regards Jane McKinnon General Manager" Plenty of space yet for you late comers to book in. I repeat if you want to travel in company there is a crew coming up from Vic you can link up with enroute, as well as people from Sydney and Canberra way as well. Of course you can also link up with (and peel off where ever you like)the East Coast tour, leaving Tathra on tuesday and stopping over at Moruya, Kiama, Coledale, Lake Macquarie and onwards to Stocktons beach. Something for everyone. So DON'T MISS OUT ON A WEEKEND (or maybe a whole week )TO REMEMBER jenno What a weekend , what a show, what an opportunity ;D

I have been in contact with the local historic car/engine club. They have a huge shed and all sorts of good stuff. For $5 they will put on morning or afternoon tea and a tour of collection/clubhouse. I guess sat morning or arvo would be the go for any interested takers jenno .....Further to this the president of the club has contacted me suggesting sat morning would be the go as it is a working bee morning and most of their members would be present to show off their machines.

Hiya Jenno, Sounds good. Is that the big shed we passed just on the south side ( on the right) of Pambula on last years tour? ? Saturday morning would be cool with me. There will probably be a few vans that wont get to Tathra until saturday morning .... But i would imagine the drivers would be happy to just get on thier sites and relax after driving anyway

Hi Jands. As has been the case for the past 6 or 7 years Coledale is on ... as Geoff and Jude have eluded to ... the weekend after NSW schools go back from thier September /October break....22/9 to 7/10. Tathra is on from Friday 5/10 to Tuesday 9/10 . There will be a short east coast tour ( 9th , 10th, 11th Oct) up to Coledale after Tathra arriving at Coledale on the Thursday. A lot of people book into Coledale via Geoff and Jude and arrive as early as the start of the week leading up to the traditional Coledale weekend. The Coledale weekend ( to be confirmed by Geoff and Jude ) would probably be Friday 12th . Sat 13th and sunday 14th October. So yeah... 3 seperate events spanning from Friday 5/10 to sunday 14/10.. Its your choice do 1... or do em all. Nothing has been changed or cancelled. Hope his helps See ya at Coledale .. Reddo

Hi All, just a suggestion for the Saturday night revelry for those that can remember the era, the theme for the night could be Rock & Roll dress up in keeping with Frankie J & his music. Regards Ingrid & Cliff
