Another booking for tathra...no van, they will be in a cabin but an extraordinarily nice EH prem(unless he decides to bring the 66 corvette....or the GTS HT monaro.....or the XY GT...Oh what a choice to have  ;D) to add to the overall picture for the weekend regards jenno |

Gday fellow Tathra - ites,
just wondering if those who are coming down friday 5th or expect to be there by sat 6th at 10am, in time for and who intend to, visit the local car club for the tour and morning tea($5) at their clubhouse/storage facility, could PM me so I can put together an estimate of numbers so they can cater for all those attending.

Good to hear from you again. Life gets too hectic for all the things you have to do at times, & something misses out.
We are still hoping to be able to make the run, but a lot of things are going against us at present, so thats why we havent booked. If we can make, we will try our luck with site bookings, as I find most parks will squeeze another in if possible & needed.
I think last time we caught up was a few years back at Coolangatta at Wintersun.

Hidey Ho thar Tathra Rock n rollers.... Not long now... time ta get out there and do some spitting and polishing ....if ya dont like polishing ....   .. well i reckon ya should just get out there and spit ;D Just had a great weekend out at Broke Village Fair... only V.V out there so got my ears chewed off by hundreds of lookers... "Old Blue" came home full of dust and i have a pre trip list a mile long to get through before leaving home on the Thursday arvo. Top of the list is evrything uner the van ...brakes and wheel bearings, tyres, spring /shackle bushes , U bolts etc. Can handle doors and windows coming loose ... but need to ensure all is good at the business end of the van.. Praying for good weather.. cant wait to catch up with a lot of great people i havent seen since last year down at Eden /Tathra etc. Rain Hail or Shine.... Its gunna be a HOOT, Regards Reddo |

I have had a few people express their justifiable disappointment that they will not arrive at Tathra till after the club tour at 10;15 on the sat morning. Really sorry about this,I did suggest the sunday but sat morning was the only time they would agree/accept as they have a working bee on at the club that morning....afternoon?? I will try to find out if VV latecomers on sat can still mosey over for a look without the morning tea a little later in the day. sorry, did my best there and will get back to you regards jenno |

Hi MO,
the list as of today with 2 recent cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances is .......28 Vintage Vans, 2 couples/friends of VVers in modern vans on a "try and buy" and I believe anywhere maybe up to 4 or 5 cabins hired, for VVers without their van or other friends of VVers.
a good roll call all up with most of the usual characters who attend these east coast events for an approx total of 60 adults and 6 to 8 kids.
should be a HOOT on the prowl ;D ;D

I have been contacted by the bega/Sth coast car club re the VVers who do not arrive till mid morning sat. The best they can offer is that they will be open untill 1pm sat. If people can't make the morning tea they can still go for a look if they can get there in time for a peek a little later on. BUT...by 1 pm everyone apparently heads of home. Hi Jeff Bit dissapointing that the car club cant hang around for an extra hour or 2 .. especially when ya consider the 32 people X $5.00 a head we are putting into thier coffers for a morning tea and a look around... Yup.. i know that most of that $5 will go on catering but it would have been nice of them to hang about just a bit later than 1.pm Not grumbling about whats doing on the day... i will be there on saturday morning and i thank them and your good self for organising the look around for us vint vanners... Cant help but feel they will be getting a good deal as well when we roll up in our period tow cars for them to check out.... ;D 2 way street aye.... Not long now kiddies.... Reddoldtimerocknroller |

I'm sure that everyone that is participating on this run understands and accepts that it is out of your hands.
