Day night couch from 1968 Viscount van complete but will need re upholstering as the cover is a little sad it is first in best dressed and pickup from Ararat we will keep it till the 30th of November and after that it will go to the tip as we don't have the room to keep it any longer and it is not needed as the bed is getting changed in the van it came from. Not interested in sending it or doing any thing else you want you get it. You can contact me on 0407 723 148. Pickup is from Ararat 3377 Victoria.

In reply to DC3Td the retail price of a sheet of 2400 mm x 1200 mm x .06 mm CP 48 white caravan cladding is $ 187.95 including GST while the list price for a similar sized sheet in the pattern to suit a Coramal is $ 242.55 inlcluding GST to buy a flat sheet of ali in white .06mm is very similar in price and than if some one has to bend it and whatever he has to be payed for his time and to run a small work shop in the country it will cost around $ 90.00 to a $ 100.00 per hour so the cost can soon ad up. As a example we are rebuilding a 14 feet Vacation caravan for a client at the moment and by the time it is ready for use there will be not much change out of $ 23000.00 . I will arrange to get some photos and a short story soon. Regards Gerald

Any thing is possible to be rebuilt as you have a very good set of patterns and after the other van you have done this will be a walk in the park. Have fun.

Hi Maddie
If the sheet is not a huge length say 2400mm or shorter it should be able to be folded in a folder you will have to paint it the right colour as the Viscount colour is not available from stock we have done this a number of times and people have not picked that the sheet has been fabricated only point is it gets costly due to the amount of time it takes and it takes two people to fold it. Regards Gerald

We do work on old vans but like has been said it is expensive as you have to pull every thing damaged to bits, remanufacture it and then reassemble and when you are paying a company to do this the dollars add up very quickly. Regards Gerald

There is one up for auction on the 17th of this month at Pickles in Melbourne it looks like it jack knifed and tripped as it needs a lot of panel beating(i'am been kind here) but one back corner still looks good . Look under caravans in their salvage section and you will find it, and no i'am not interested in repairing it i would rather build you a new one.Regards Gerald

Now that would be a good candidate for a make over would not be hard to do either it is just getting the time to take on another project as it would look good behind the 49 Studebaker pickup that we picked up in Sydney and all it needs is a towbar . There is room in the shed to looking to get filled
