I'm looking at buying a vintage caravan and restoring it however I don't have the expertise or the carpentry skills to do the actual work. I also don't have a garage or area at the moment to store one to work on it. (I'm working on this)
I was wondering if there is anyone on here who would be willing to work with me to renovate/restore a vintage caravan? I'm happy to pay somebody to do the actual work. I know they take time.
I have called around to a few caravan repairers in Melbourne and they don't touch vintage caravan repairs/restoration work!
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Paying someome else to do a restoration is a VERY costly exercise. Even doing your own restoration can be expensive. Unless it is a particular van you have your heart set on, it may be more prudent to buy one that requires little or no work.

We do work on old vans but like has been said it is expensive as you have to pull every thing damaged to bits, remanufacture it and then reassemble and when you are paying a company to do this the dollars add up very quickly. Regards Gerald
