custom mattress recommendations

Hi All, I would like to get an inner spring mattress made for my Sunliner and looking for recommendations on who to go to and also on particular bed models. Looking at made to measure mattresses and makin mattresses, but also happy to look at others. and any tips on getting the right fit etc also appreciated.

Hi,
I cant remember who made the one I used in my Sunliner, but there is a picture of it on about page 4 of" Jailbarjuice Sunliner".
But I custom made my bed frame & base, & didnt use the factory bed structure.

The people were just north of the bridge to Redcliffe, on the main road going north, on the left hand side.
I had to make a template for the curved section, & they made it exactly to the template. So remember to leave clearance to get your sheets & blankets down between mattress & van.
I bought a pillow top innerspring, & it was brilliant. But back then it cost about $900, delivered to my door

I think most custom mattress people would produce similar quality, but I know there is a great range of thicknesses & springs, foam, etc to choose. All of these vary the cost.
Its worth it to have a good mattress, because a cheaper poor quality one is not much of an alternative.

I not long ago got mine made to measure from Makins (I hope I spell that correct). 1200x1800 x.200 cost $800 with latex top and bottom. Very comfy.

We use a company called Custom Mattresses at 1/86 Wedge street Epping Vic 3076 ph 03 9401 2211 .We use them for our caravan mat tresses for the new vans we build and find the product very good and well priced. I see that you are in NSW so there should be some one there or you could get the freighted .

Thanks JBJ, Boblor and Gerald. sorry for the very slow reply. I ended up going with Made to measure mattresses (the one JBJ was talking about) I got my mattress today, fits perfectly and feels great!
