Hi VV's What size an awning for my Sunny? I have the original annex (which I'll keep) but it's too much like a house. So I want a simple awning. Bit of shade and cover for the camp chairs and table etc. Two members of this forum kindly gave me their old awning to use as a template. It is currently 4 metres by 3. Width fine. But is it big (long) enough to cover all? I'm thinking 4 x 4?? Any awning advice? And do I need all those pole holes? moi

Looove the 50s green cupboards. Nice choice Hump! Will almost forgive you for doing up a wooden van...

Thanks Brian. Food for thought. I guess a lot of it comes down to price.

Thanks Brian. Do you think over ride brakes are superior to electric brakes?

Humpty, you're alive !!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Great to hear from you. I love your new Sunny!! Ok so HR wheels are the go. Or will the spacers as JBJ suggest do the trick? I'm a little confused. Easily done. Sheppo, I live down the road at the Central Coast but was holidaying with Sunny at Blacksmiths Caravan Park.

Ahh, so you've seen it too Sheppo - being in Newy. I saw the Olympic out front but is it a Sunny in the back shed I spied or simply wishful thinking?

Thanks JBJ! Although I'm a bit concerned about having to buy bigger rims - see Bruce's post.

Gee, that's a worry about the ALKO brakes, Bruce. Mmm... Mine are 13s, too. Don't want to lose my whitewalls. Gee...
Yeah, I had the suspension up higher Gordon as I was told it was better for towing but the Citroen forum boys tell me to lower it. So you must be right.

Sacred Blu - very good ATOG! Yes, it was Swansea Sheppo (no flies on you) - you are not the owner of the Olympic and Sunny on Pacific Hwy in Pelican are you? And thanks Dave. Hopefully if I get some brakes on this thing I'll make it to the big VV meet down Coledale. Don't fancy Bulli Pass without them - merd!

Finally all finished! But stopping was fun in a vintage car with mad French brakes from the 60s. Clearly stopping when you put your foot on the pedal is unbohemian and somehow un-French. Seatybelts are dodgy too. Was a hairy trip. Anyone reccomend a brand of electric brakes for a Sunny before I kill myself??

Hey Big H, Always liked the Royal. Has a touch of the Caddy about it in its styling. The interior looks stunning. Love the little crowns in the vinyl. Nice in front of the Sunny. dorian

In my little tinnie fishing today I motor up my secret river and in the bushes what do I see in rough nick but what looks like a chrome Airstream. What a shock. Nearly tipped over. Might be a Sunny painted chrome. Not sure. Will investigate....
