a good project Peter ....are you going to keep the same design "flash" on it .....it breaks the plain look nicely ....
Will the old Falc be the tow car?

The stripe/flash was original on most Sunliners of this period. It was usually close to the intereior upholstery colour of the van. I have seen the flash painted over on several vans and pointed it out to various owners. The flash will be done in the same colour as the EH premier I bought off Reddo (metallic blue), and the main colour (white) will be Ford AAA white That way I can tow it with both the XP and the Premier. Work is well advanced, sanded back, new cupboard doors made and the double bed in place of that *%^#@* convertable divan

Dennis must be getting close to time to visit your daughter again...school hols coming up..... Trip to Brisbane was a quick one. Just enough time to get there, pick up the Olympic caravan we bought, and get back home, losing a wheel off the van at Ennogerah held us up a little Went up the New England

Working hard on this van now. All the cupboard doors are sanded, I will prime them tomorrow before they are painted ala 60's ( 4 colours) Have made the double bed at the back with accessable compartments. Also done some sanding on the main body of the van. There is none of that oversprayed red there any more. The body is very good!!! As you say Dennis Time is the only thing I cant get enough of........however I will have this van ready for Coledale P....up. ;D. Took some photos today and now I have conquered the update I am nearly ready to have a go at Photobucket again

Thanks Jailbar I didn't even notice the new milestone. Does that make me the second greatest dribbler? ? I agree, I've not seen a site as good as this one, with great camaraderie and interesting information at the same time. Do wish more of the newer members would join in a bit more. Surely they too have stories to tell!!

Anyone seen or heard of the missing Humpty Dumpty . Last posting was 19/6/05. he's been a bit quiet of late. Probably sercum to the dreaded fibreglass dust from those evil bubble sunliners. Hope he hasn't had a great fall as predicted in the nursery ryhme. Reddo - "Glass might be class" but "Bondwood is for good"

Been flat out like a lizard drinkin' (you know how flat that can make you). Working hard on Sunliner 2, the interior is now done.........have 2 little pieces to replace in chassis and then paint the exterior, some of the preparation will be done this weekend!! Note the photo of Sunliner 2 has the bondwood van in the background....after I get the fibreglass dust out of my lungs, I should be ready for the splinters Still on the wall Humpty Dumpty, aka Humpty2

Gunna paint it with acrylic. I think acrylic has sufficient flexability to be on the Sunliner..........I have seen some done with 'Weathershield' and the sprayed one ,(Spyders) is quite good!! Now that will flex!! Still got a good grip on that wall ;D ;D

Sunliner 2 is all but ready to paint, but missus is not happy with the speed of progress, she can't understand why I put paint (undercoat ) on......then sand it off again!!!! then fill the stone chips up (Knifing Putty) and sand that off again, then put undercoat on again and sand.......I'm starting to wonder myself now . My aim is to have the topcoat on the roof and down to the windows before "happy hour " Sunday Photos will come..when I take them

Two questions Will: 1. What's that thing stuck in the front of your beanie??? 2.Is that eagle looking at what's in the beanie, or just waiting for you to close your eyes so that it can get to that dry beer? Dry beer? What's the point of drinking dry beer, you'll never get your thirst quenched with that stuff RAY
