How do all. We hope you are all looking forward to a much deserved and relaxing weekend after the success of Maroochydore. One thing to keep in mind, Neurum Creek is a bush retreat and the aim is to relax and enjoy each others company. it will be great to get back to what we are used to doing when we get together. We are booked in for Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd of May. We have secured sites 7, 8 , 9 10 & 11. Sites 7, 8 & 9 are the powered sites we had last year. Management are happy for us to put 8 or 9 vans on these 3 sites. Sites 10 & 11 are non powered sites these sites can take another 4 to 5 vans. We have been given permission to run power from 7, 8 & 9 to 10 & 11 so ensure you bring along the longer power cords. They also have A1 & A2 – Non powered sites available and A3, 4, 5 & 6 powered sites available. These sites can also cater for a number of vans that can share. We need to let them know by Friday if we want to hold these sites or not. Costs are split when sharing a site. The booking is under Vintage Caravan Group & bookings can be made either via the website www.ncbr.com.au/or on 1300733901. It costs $2.50 for a dog People can buy a bag of wood for $12 or are encouraged to BYO firewood It is critical that you get your booking in ASAP because the additional sites are in great demand and if we do not confirm we need them in the next day or so Friday at the latest we will need to hand them back. Good-one Pete & Trish Mr & Mrs dosse and one little plate licker are booked on Friday 22nd May. This weekend away is all about what we do best.....absolutely nothing.....well that's not entirely true ....there is the likelihood that we might get to talk to each other and enjoy the company around the open camp fire. Regards dosse.

I am still unpacking from our last trip and I have now booked in for the next one. Although I am still spending a lot of time just looking at my kitchen. Sooooo, Less looking and more unpacking should do the trick. And them I can start packing all over again. ;D #12 needs to be in Mexico I think. Suzann and Matt (now complete with kitchen ;D )

Well done Peteandtrish, book the Hargans in for that one as we missed out last time. The new knee replacement should be up and I hope running by then and the Hunter Minor hasn't seen the outside of the garage since Pottsville. The new tow car should be almost finished by then too. (Austin 1800 Mk2 1970). Looking forward to it, Regards, Paul & Yoko

I'm a bit concerned about all this talk about "wood burning" Just a word of warning to all you bondy owners.. "Sleep with one eye open".... Sounds like a real great camping caravanning adventure coming up guys. .. The smell of "charcoal toast a-la dosse" wafting up through the valley. Eggs fried on the plate to within inches of thier existence, Bacon the consistencey of corn chips. Looks like we will be roughing it at "Berry "as well. The portable showers they promised us at the showground are still in use in Victoria after the fires. Add to this .. unpowered sites and no campfires and it equals a real bushcamp weekend.... in the middle of town Have a great weekend "Up the creek" Reddo

Neil and Cheryl I should be able to fit some extra wood in the Patrol wagon. If we work something out the previous weekend that would be good as the boss is away all week which puts me in the hotseat at work and the roller door comes down right on 5pm.
I have booked in on the same site as Pete and Trish but won't get up there till at least 7pm Friday night. At least I'll have some company this time. Olive the sharpei has put her paw up to accompany me on this trip. RollyDog formerly known as Hillman Safari Rod G.

Hi dosse
More vans booked for this years visit to Neurum Creek than we had in 08 this is a good indicator as to the growth of VV's in SEQ.

Not too sure of the best way to coord the meat side of things. Trish and I will also bring a roast of something. I am sure though if anything like Christmas we will have more than enough to go around.

Hi all, Can any tell me where Neurum creek is? We have just joined this vintage caravan site on the computer and I don't want to get off! my husband has to drag me away! We have just got our "fleetwind" in a really bad condition, but besides this site I am spending every waking hour on it. Have achieved a lot in 2 weeks. I figure the quicker it gets done the quicker we will be on the road!!!!!!!!!!!! mad (Mark and Deb)
