Fynspray galley/water pumps are made by White Star Products in New Zealand.

Another great site is Spoonflower. Here you can browse existing fabric, wallpaper or decal designs....or create your own! US based but does ship anywhere. So the opportunity is there to create your own design for your VC, or upload a retro design and have it reproduced.

Cobber. you are the answer to all my calls. I have taken on project of restoring a 1964 Viscount small caravan. live in Perth. want to find a replacement door 1760Hx530W cm door, also window seal wedge and the other seal between window and van. also wanting to replace the small water tank system 900x500cm tin covering under van, complete with a small pump tap to fit 35cm diameter hole in our bristle sink. And a replacement front window which has been removed and an air conditioner is there's with perspective around it. your assistance for sourcing most appreciated. I'm in Melbourne all next week if any places you can suggest to visit. many thanks. roslyn

Gee I hate it when I have to disappoint a lady .... but I am not the source of all knowledge when it comes to finding parts required for the restoration of vintage caravans.
I just try to maintain the information contained in the list above, most of that information is contributed by members of the forum who have had success when dealing with the suppliers mentioned.

May I suggest you become a 'member' of the forum, you will then be able to post photos of your Viscount in the 'Members photo Album' thread showing pictures of your van and the parts you require.

You will be surprised at how many members of this forum will come to your aid with suggestions on sourcing parts and offering advice on any problems you have during the restoration process. Many parts, such as window rubbers are available via mail order and with a bit of luck somebody in Melbourne will come on if they have a window available for you next week.

Dear Cobber, Ive gone with Knight tiles by Karndean for a 60s square tiled floor, given 'Day tiles' are no longer available for Harris van floor. Can be a cut tiled floor with track around edge if wanted. Pretty resilient with splashed water n moisture etc. Found Adelaide Felt and Carpets helpful with order and measurement etc. Have beaut kitchen in this stuff too, very hard wearing. Hope this is helpful.

We have an old caravan , registration says 1963 Panora Caravan, the in side cupboards , doors. Timber ice fridge, bedding, table, all in original pretty good condition, the outside of the van needs some work .
Wondering if anyone knows who may be interested in either parts that the can used for another van or in restoration of this one . I've tried to find a website or somewhere online that can help , but have had little success .

Is there a possibility that the name of this van might be 'Panorama' with a name plate, or parts of it, that look like the ones on the vans in this link HERE ?

I ask because I don't think we have heard of Panora caravans...... yet

Vintage caravans are bought and sold on this forum often, but what we need are a couple of photos, both inside and outside and information as to where the van is located.

I have a 1974 Franklin caravan. The van has been stationary for 2 years. It is in great condition, but I am wanting to tow it so thought I would check out the bearings. If I wanted to put new bearings on the trailer can anyone tell me what I need to get and where?

Replacing your bearings is more than likely not necessary,unless they were already done in when you parked it up two yrs back just get your local mechanic to check them..at worst they may only need repacking/greasing, about an hours labour.
