I try not to weigh in when people ask advice on converting vans for commercial use as there does seem to be a bit of conflict when they do, all I want to add is be it restored for touring or for commercial use does it really matter? the main thing to remember is it is another old van saved from the tip or destruction and is that a bad thing?

Find out first what the seller wants for it, then make an offer as to what you think it is worth then throw it back and forward till you are both happy, not the answer you were looking for but then that's how it is.

a pic of my new purchase. Nice piece of machinery Humpyboy, what will you use it on? ST What will I use it on? just how many vans do you think I have ST, will use it on the Roadcruiser should I ever get a start on it, I'm still hopeful that the FJ will be capable of dragging it along, might just help if she doesn't have to carry the weight as well.

And here is one I saw earlier this year, a coffee van, actually have seen it once or twice more traveling down the road.
P.S. the humpy in front is not his, my mate parked in front of the van so he could get a picture, my mate texted the picture to his wife and said "look what I just bought" her response? "does it have a toilet & shower"

Good on ya Derk, they're a part of caravanning history worth preserving too Which model did you get, the first one with two balls or the second 'Level ride' model, and if the second one .... does it have a different patent number on it ? Cobber. G'day Cobber buddy mate, I got what Brenten's got, looks to be pretty much the same what I can see in the pics, hope to pick it up Sunday, will try and get a pic up for you chief.

I have been following your ID request and I think that it is most likely a home made job or perhaps one of those kit vans which has been fitted out by the owner, therefore do the rebuild as you see fit copy what you can and remake the missing parts to match what you have, it's your van to do with what you want.
