Hi All, As you know today is the last day for payment into the bank account for the Saturday Night dinner. Everyone that said that they were going to attend the dinner has paid - thank you. This is except for magicangelisa who is new to the forum, so I have sent Lisa a PM. If anyone knows Lisa or has her phone number, can you please give her a call and confirm if she is coming??? For the $25 per head price point, we were aiming for a total of 80+ adults. We have 77 adults and 8 children. So we didn't quite make it, but the good news is that I have spoken to Pauline at Coast to Coast The Golden Roast and they are not going to charge us any extra Which is great as I really wouldn't have wanted to be bothered trying to go around and collect another $2 from everyone on the weekend. So I say "Bring on the party" !!!! Thanks Luv Di P.S. Lyn, tried to phone you , have left a message on your ansaphone. Can you plesae give me a call when possible??

Hi All, I've just read through all the posts (checking that I hadn't missed any payments) and I noticed the following:- Sutcac had suggested a Damper Cook Off, but now that Clyde and Barb aren't coming to Canungra, i'm not sure if that is still going ahead. ? Neil and Cheryl and Rob & Cathie had both offered to bring timber - thanks guys - not sure if it will now be needed??? Banno & Joey had mentioned the Sunday Morning ritual of griddle cakes. ;D ;D So as the dinner is on Saturday night and the griddle cakes are on Sunday morning, then if anyone wants a damper cook off, I would suggest that Friday night would be the best time. Unless you are going to the local pur for dinner. Therefore if you want to do a cook off, please reply to this thread, so Neil and Rob know whether to bring any timber or not. It's a shame for them to chop some timber and drag it to Canungra if it is not going to be used. Thanks Luv Di
