they both wanted a deposit up front ,,and numbers 5 days before,and pay the rest on the day,what i meant is that the VV people pay up front so we have definate numbers, i have done this a lot with hot rodders, people saying yes and we order for so many and they dont turn up,or those who just turn up and expect a feed ,so will i go ahead looking into this or just can it waiting on your comments no iam not stressing just didnt want to miss out on a booking if going ahead thankyou all for your quick replies

Hi All
Looking forward to meeting everyone it will be our first outing with the club, we are not fussy about dates, we will just go with the flow.
We will be at Nambour Showground Antiques fair on 4th September so if you are in the area please come and say hello, you can't miss us it's the 1966 Olympic with the 1930's music (Would have loved a 1930's caravan, just like the ones at the Bakelite Museum wood paneling, lead light windows, one can dream!!)

i am going to book tomorrow going with COAST TO COAST THE GOLDEN ROAST-55476622 is there number going with the $23.90 big buffet with dessert for 80 adults or more starts with platters of cold nibbles free with this buffet(cheese,dips,kabana,crakers and vegetable stick crudities,served on a platter for to pick and nibble choice of chicken,pork,lamb,prime beef baked ham.served withgravey and condiments sauces to suit plus smoked ham platter included for 80 guests or more bread french sticks and butter potatoes roasted in jackets and cream always with market tossed salad desserts 4 to pick from 8
we arte now up to 43 adults 5 kids so far keep those name rolling in

Even though we are a pre 1970 forum, the bottom line is we are really about enjoying old caravans, & the company of people that enjoy old caravans, without politics & club rules.
So if you feel you want to participate, come along & see how it works for you.
You wont get banished into the boondocks just because your van isnt pre 70.
It would be good to see you there & meet you.

Just to let you know that no sooner was our caravan on the road than now it's off. The wheel came off while we were traveling (bearings) we haven't even traveled a 1000 kilometers yet, so sorry we won't be at the Nambour fair Saturday.
Trying to sort out repairs, so we'll be ready for Canungra.

Well Canungra number 3....Looks like NSW has Coledale and QLD has Canungra. Back by popular demand is Ilse's free give-away...so if you can contribute to this it will be appreciated. Regards dosse. We were discussing Ilsa's free give-away table whilst at Jondaryan and as Dosse's mention of it (within this thread) is buried back on Page one, I thought I would give it a bump to jog everyone memories. ;D For those of you that have already been to Canungra before, you know what it's all about. For any newbies, the idea is to bring along any items (50's, 60's, kitsch, memorabilia, caravan related or not) whatever you no longer want that you think someone else may be able to use. We then put everything on a table and whilst having dinner on the Saturday give everyone a raffle ticket number. The numbers then get picked out and you go and pick an item from the table. It's all free and is a way of recycling any items that the others within the group can use. There were some very happy people last year. So start sorting through your garage, cupboards, etc etc or even purchase small items from the charity shops that you think may be suitable. Regards Di
