Thats a fantastic effort from all those at Coledale ......a sizeable donation indeed to a very worthy cause Must've been due to the skill of the auctioneer ;D ;D Well done ...... Shame about the strong winds this year, but a good turnout ........ and another great event regardless !! Mark

As has been mentioned it was very windy at Coledale this weekend but we did manage to fly the flag up near the main road so that passing traffic could see that Vintage Caravans. Com. were in residence. Usually we attract many “lookers” on the Saturday but due to the unpleasant weather there were not so many this year. Sunrise over Coledale looks good in any weather … my Newcastle “Swampvan” and Di's Propert. The Queensland push (plus one ring in) on the powered sites. Cobber... Di. …Neilncheryl.. Earlee..John K and sutcac A big thank you and Congratulations to Geoff and Jude for organising such a successful fund-raiser for Prostrate Cancer. Cobber.

G'day F/F. Reddo had the other flag with him "On the Wallaby" and when they arrived at Coledale he had it flying south of the amenities block. He gave that one to Neilncheryl before they left. When the wind was blowing really hard the flag poles bent with the wind OK but.... if the base was in soft ground it would lean over and looked like it could pull out of the ground... so it was safer not to fly them in those conditions. I woke up one morning to find I had a busted window..... we'll assume it was something flying through the air in the wind....... has anybody mentioned... it was windy at Coledale this year Cobber.

Hi all Some great pics of another great Coledale event. The wallaby tour looked terrific too. Got a bit nostalgic seeing the VV's zooming around Panorama .... again!! Congrats to the great fundraising done as well. Obviously a lot of people put in a lot of hard work - congrats and pat yourselves on the back, one and all. The whisper of a Vic tour hooking up with a spring tour to Coledale next year sounds great. Who knows, I might even be down here permanently by then Cheers Ray

G'DAY ROBBO , THE LITTLE AUSTIN UTE IS ALL ORIGINAL , WHAT A BEAUTY IT IS I LOVE IT . DAVE AND FRAN FROM LITHGOW IS THE OWNER AND HE WAS TELLING ME IT TAKES HIM AN HOUR LONGER TO GET TO SYDNEY IN THE UTE THAN IT DOES WITH A MODERN CAR . THE PROPERT HE TOWS WITH THE AUSTIN IS CALLED "MISS BENNETT" AFTER THE ORIGINAL OWNER . THEY HAVE GOT THE BEST DISPLAY OF PERIOD CAMPING/CARAVANING GEAR IN THE PROPERT I HAVE EVER SEEN . IT IS SET UP FOR PRACTICALITY AS WELL ,WITH EVERY "SMALL COLOURFUL" ITEM HAVING A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE ! THIS RIG WOULD BE THE ULTIMATE CROWD PLEASER AT NRMA MOTORFEST IN SYDNEY ON AUSTRALIA DAY . A GREAT REPRESENTATION OF WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT ! DOES ANYBODY HAVE DAVE'S NUMBER ? AS HE'S NOT ON THE FORUM . LETS GET HIM TO MOTORFEST ! CHEERS 8-)MAURIE
