"Lumpy" our dear old caravan is offered for sale. He is a heavy old Scenic van, 15 foot long, with wooden sides and alum front. The roof has a sky light. Lumpy has been used as a teenagers video game retreat/sleepout, but is now sitting idle. The inside is tidy, yellow and blue. There is no stove, gas bottle or fridge, and the water tank is leaking. He also needs cupboard doors in kitchen. Otherwise looking good! Outside is also blue and white, but also needs TLC. I have some photos of inside and out, but having difficulty attaching them here. Lumpy has a lovely vibe, and would love to be a happy little camper again. My email is amspcf2@bigpond.com, and I will try to attach photos that way?? (Not sure if this is online etiquette?) Thank you Pepi Huon Tas

LOL... no wonder I have totally drawn a blank trying to research this Scenic van type. I have also had issues trying to attach the photos, however in the process of using a bigger computer to load them now, so will be most interested to hear your verdicts. Having seen the photo of the Wayfarer,on the discussion site, I believe it may be a Wayfarer. All feed back appreciated. What a great forum! Most supportive and relaxed. Thank you!
cheers Pepi

G'day Pepi, Have a read through the Coronet History thread, and see if you think the van in the brochure in Reply #1 is the same as yours. Click on this link. If you read further down that thread, you'll see the brochure was believed to be from 1960, so your van would be from around that same time period. cheers, Al.

Thank you for responding! Yes Jenniewren, I think Lumpy is a lovely shape! ( I am Lumpy, too, but without his flair...) And I will be very sad when he goes. But vans needs to be loved again, not left empty. I think he looks like a Wayfarer?? There are similarities with the Hawthorn. Still looking at coronet thread. Have discovered I love looking at the insides of other peoples vans online!
