Propert patent folding caravans (also known as trailer cabins) were built by Propert Gold Seal Products. With their workshop located at 771 Old South Head Road, Vacluse Sydney. With the proprietor being Mr Thomas AW Propert who at the turn of the century was heavily involved in high class vehicle manufacture and was a foundation member of the Australian caravan manufactures association.

G'day mynance, and welcome to the naughty corner...err, I mean forum! ;D You'll notice the exyz link you posted has been removed. One of the rules of the forum is that no links to exyz can be posted, because it causes too much emotional unrest on the forum. It's an amazing coincidence that you posted a link to a Propert, because the standard punishment for violating the rule is that an "Admin" representative comes around to your home and folds you up like a Propert before giving you a swift kick up the tail light. Sorry should of read all of the rules first. The van belongs to my mother and father and dad has given up his license so has asked me to try to sell it for him.

Not sure if it was a Propert - but there is a folding van in Birdwood musem. I visited the first time last week on the drive back from Melbania with a new toy. What an awesome place to visit!!
