G'day viscount, I'm not looking to buy your van (...got 3 already ), but I would be interested in knowing the chassis number welded on the front drawbar, if you are prepared to divulge it. I'm always looking for good examples of caravans for our History section, and yours would have to be one of the better examples of Ambassadors I've seen from that time period. I'm also interested in knowing what info you have to say it's a 1967 model. The Viscount range in the 1960s is proving to be the most difficult for me to work out an accurate way of dating them. Considering Viscount were the leading manufacturer through the '60s, it's important for me to try and get it 'right'. The reason I'm keen to understand your 1967 date is that the 'lightning flash' stripes on the side were used on the 1969/70 vans, but may have been used earlier. If you could share the chassis number with me, that would be great. cheers, Al.
