G'day All, Just received the October 15, 1956 Motor Manual mag off ebay. Nice article about the new 19 foot Gypsy van. Article also points out choices for different shell material for this van..."Al-ply, marine ply, or Plas-Ply". Seems like the plastic coated ply was available from the mid-fifties onwards (was marketed as Rescote plywood in the early 1970s). Interesting stuff... Can't say I've seen too many 19 footer bondwood vans on this forum. Where did they all go? cheers, Al.

MMMM, thats a nice style of van Al. Luv the white walls. Thanks for sharing. You're right, don;t see many big bondies. I remember looking at a bondy 22ft van a few years back, coulda got it for a song, but it had been sitting onsite for donkeys years and was waaay up in them thar hills. Coulda shoulda woulda. Tinnie
