No, I haven’t met Lionel even though he lives not too far from my place.. but I’ve read his columns in magazines and his online writings for such a long time that I feel I know him.
I can well imagine he was on the committee that collated lists of ‘Murphy’s Sayings’..
I have a list of Murphy’s quotes hanging in the passageway at home - it’s extremely difficult to pick just one from the hundred or so quotes, but the classic is surely: “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong”
And one should always keep in mind.. “Never play leapfrog with a unicorn”
Lovely picture of Pat - 50 years.. jeez.. 1958 - it seems like yesterday..

If you'd like to own a bit of Arthur and Pat Pullin history, coupled with the quality of a Hallmark caravan, this could be your chance.
Amazing that Arthur’s Joker 11 and Joker 111 are both for sale at the same time!
I went and had a look at this van on Saturday, intending to pay for it and bring it home. After viewing I walked away very disappointed without making an offer. It's a long wat from beyond saving but it's a fair project now, anyone interested in my observations would be welcome to discuss firstname.lastname@example.org
