Rod appologies for listing only one name or your group name. David Dosse Graham & Marg Rod G Neil & Cheryl Trevor & Julie Bob & Loretta Steve & Sharyn Reddo Sutcat Trish & Pete OB & Lyn JailbarJuice Bob & Jacqui x 5 sites.(can you email me details of the others for these sites)
To me that adds up to 17 but there is room for more. If I have missed anyone I appologise and if you don't see someone else's names there likewise confirm with them if they are coming.

Thanks I am collating the names for the park and sending it off on Tuesday. They have been kept updated and 25 spots won't be a problem but if we get more and a little bit of notice it should be OK. Only 3 months to go. RG

Paul & Yoko The Hunter Minore will be most welcome (reckon it would look perfect behind the Hillman Hunter though). We have passed the 17 van mark and headed towards 25. List is below . If I am missing any names or have details wrong please email me direct. I have a master list with some surnames for the park but hopefully I can give you site numbers before we go to make it easier for all. 1/ (dosse)David Humber Supersnipe & 52 Don Caravan 2/ Graham & Marg Fairlane compact & old van 3/ (hillmansafari) Rod Hillman Hunter wagon & teardrop 4/ Neil & Cheryl Vauxhall & 48 Rowvan 5/ Trevor & Julie 6/ (BobLor) Bob & Loretta Subaru & Olympic Contessa van 7/ (Santa28A) 47 Chev pickup & bondwood van 8/ (Reddo) Chev Silverado & 52 Bondwood van 9/ (Sutcat) Clyde & Barb EH Holden Premier & the Fugly van 10/ Trish & Pete FJ Holden & Sunliner 11/ OB & Lyn 1946 Ford Anglia 12/ (JailbarJuice) Dennis - Hotrod and Sunliner van 13/ (bobandjacqui)Bob & Jacqui Olympic Van 14/ Julie & Shane – Olympic 15/ Kevin & Jean Olympic 16/ Bob & Sharon Olympic or Golf pop top 17/ Steve & Vi Classic Aluminium 18/ Suzanne & Matt Chev Blitz & teardrop 19/ Earlee 1 20/ Earlee 2 21/ John K from the Sunshine Coast 22/ Dave & Lyn Landcruiser & old large bondwood van 23/ Phargan Paul and Yoko
I am thinking of going up there in the next few weeks to sus things out more plus organise something with the Alexandra Headlands Surf Club for dinner Friday night and barbeque at the park Saturday night. Last year we had 4 vans meet at Etamogah Pub at 10am Friday for an 11am convoy to the park. The pub was very much on side and we generated a lot of interest there so wondering if anyone is keen on this again. If anyone wants to spend a couple of extra nights there before or after let me know as I may go the night before and drive to Etamogah on the Friday morning . This is a good park with the normal facilities plus very close by are Cotton Tree shops with all your needs including bakery, liquor shop, meats newsagent etc. The beach is at our back door for swimming, kite flying etc plus there is also a good bicycle trail for those with excess energy. Again let me know if I need to change anything on the list and the park sees to have no problems with our growing numbers. Rod G.

Hi Rod Thanks for putting all the effort into organising this getogether. Much appreciated. I have mentioned the trip to my new boss and all seems ok with me having the time off. Might even manage to get monday and tuesday off after the weekend so i can stay sunday night and take a leisurely stroll back to Newcastle down the pacific hwy. Hoping to get away from here on Thurs morning and head up inland via New England Hwy. So...... Ettamogah 10.00am Friday should be achievable. Christ knows what i will be driving by then,,,, at the moment the Chev ute is a safe bet,,,,.........weeeellllllllllll... today it is anyway Thanks again mate Cant wait. Reddo

Reddo An early morning start up the New England on thursday would see you up here Thursday night and maybe a bit of cross country from Toowoomba across or down the range and head out through Esk Toogoolawah and Kilcoy would cut off all the messy parts of Brisbane plus be a pretty nice drive. Once I get some numbers for the Etamogah Pub meeting I'll let them know and then make some arrangements for the caravan park so that our mass entrance is a smooth situation. It is all coming together. Rod G.

Hi all, I was soooooooooooooo put out that I didn't make it to the 9th SEQ get together. So I have booked my flight and I will be up in Maroochydore for the 10th SEQ get together ;D Yee Ha !!!! I will actually arrive up there the week before - staying with friends in Mooloolaba, so if anyone needs anything doing prior to the weekend - let me know. As I won't have our vint van with me, I will be sleeping in Lyn & Ob's Annex. Lyn did offer for me to sleep with her and Ob in the van, but I didn't want to cramp their style ;D. I'm really looking forward to what will no doubt be a great weekend and catching up with those members I already know as well as meeting some new members. See you soon Kind regards Diane

Graham and Margie. OK about the Franklin but I am a Ford man. Oh well bring the Holden then.
Richard. I have you booked for two sites . Just send me an email with the detils of your vans and cars plus your actual names as I am collating as much info for the park as possible to make it easier on the day. We are now at 25 BUT room for more so get any extra names to me asap. The park manager has advised there are a few coffee shops within walking distance for anyone wanting a more leasurely breakfast each day. i should hear back from Etamogah Pub soon so will require approx numbers for there on the Friday morning. Whilst the Mooloolaba weekend made it to Leaded Magazine on line only we have produced now a hard cover book which we hope will go out 2 or 3 times a year and the Maroochydore weekend will be featured in a future edition with a general look at the vans and a close up focus on a few of the vans and cars. Hey Rod,
I better have the Ford on standbye in case I have to tow the whole lot home.
I do have to admit though, the Ford gave me drama going to Canungra when the Holden has been there and back with no trouble at all.

Graham and Margie In reality I am partial to both makes in the older cars, particularly when you send me customers for the white wall tyres. I will soon be looking for a Ford 289 or 302 for a Sunbeam Rapier Fastback I will be restoring as that model was supposed to replace the Ford powered Sunbeam Tigers. Back to caravan biz. I have asked a friend with a teardrop teardrop and he will let me know in a few days. He has already met Sutcat so he knows it will be an interesting weekend. Rod G.

Over the years I have driven past the Springwood site of the Olympic Caravan factory and admired the fibreglass vans that have no disappeared. The Maroochydore weekend looks like improving my knowledge of these vans considerably as they keep booking in. Added another two to the list today. So at 27 total vans now the park has set a minimum of 30 spaces for us. Rod G.

Thanks for extending the kind offer Lyn and OB. I am one of those types that will keep driving until i know i have had enough. Thats usually well before i start yawning .. blinking and nodding off. I am tossing up whether to get a few hours driving under my belt on Wednesday arvo /night and motor on up into QLD Thursday morning . Plenty of time ta get to Ettamogah pub by 10... ish Friday Still argueing with myself whether its gunna be the TD or Rosie Van coming up there......... Both have there advantages. TD tows well at 120KPH... ( no load levellers/ sway bars ... only weighs around 400 kegs.. Bondy lets me stand up to get dressed and have a cuppa before tackling whatever is going on outside weatherwise. . Either way i have my swag on my back and can camp just about anywhere on the way up. I'll Pm you my mobile number.. ta stick in your phone. Would be good if you can pm me with the same. I have a mate from the Norton Owners Club that Lives in Hughes street Toowoomba. Also sold the green windowless FJ panelvan to an interior decorator from Toowoomba... although i am not sure i want to catch up with an interior decorator over a few drinks..... .... might damage my reputation as a bloke. I prefer to say "G'Day .. Not "Dee-Gay" ;D ;D Depending on time of day .....Alignment of the moon and stars.... Mates thirst.....and .......Happy Hour Thursday arvo at one of the Toowoomba locals i might be camping in a pub carpark somewhere..... wont be the first time. \ Catch you guys in a month or so... Lifes good on the road Reddo

Just an update We have reached 30 vans for the weekend with a lot of new faces joining the group for the first time. Mainly Olympics and Sunliners but a good variety all round. There is probably room for more at the park but I will need to know soon so that i can arrange things with the park etc. I am waiting to hear back from Etamogah Pub about the Friday morning meeting and will speak with the Alexandra Headlands surf club about dinner Friday night. If anyone has any other suggestions for the weekend let me know but at this stage I will be up there a few weeks before to finalise a few things and will post any other info. Cheers Rod G.
