G'day goanna, Not exactly sure what your situation is with regard to lights, but if you go back to this thread... vintagecaravans.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=technicalstuffboard&action=display&thread=1176195973which also includes a link to a previous thread about my second van, you'll see some info about clearance lights on ebay in USA. These clearance lights are still being listed by this seller. I'm also waiting on delivery of some other truck marker/clearance lights from USA that I'm aiming to adapt as individual tail and indicator lights for my van. These lights are 3 spaced end-centre-end on the one 22" long metal strip, and are similar to the old bullet head shaped plastic cone on a round metal base (hope all of that doesn't sound like gobbledygook). Put this item # 110110918110 into your ebay search field, and you'll get the gist of what I'm talking about. Anyway, I've had more success trawling through ebay motors for lights than on the local ebay. Punch in key search words like: vintage tail vintage truck vintage marker vintage trailer arrow glass kd lamp Biggest problem I've found is that a light might be "perfect" but the seller will only ship within USA. (bummer) Good luck... cheers, Al.

Hi Goanna, there's not much available in modern lighting that looks remotely old, your best chances are swap meets, garage sales and Ebay. Takes a bit of effort and patience, so good luck, cheers, Col. Thanks col i'll keep looking.........

Old landrover lights are very similar to what you describe as well as early 60s Hillmans try Holden 215 to FJ, gives you a few more avenues to peruse at swapmeets, youll be surprised at what you will find in many antique and collectable shops, some of my best auto finds have been in these, such as a clock with winder at 6 oclock for mounting on the dash of your MG or the like. dave
