Hi Atog, Above my riveria's table i have a light, over the rear bed there is a light, over the sink (a little to the rear) is a powerpoint (with one on the oppisite side on the wall). The rear sink powerpoint is mounted in the underside of the upper storage area.... I also have a powerpoint at the front of the kitchen bench (wall mount). Sorry i dont have pics.... Not sure if all that is original....... but its what mine has. Good luck with the electrics!!

Hi, From my memory of working on a couple of Olympics the whole of the 240v and the 12v wiring was done in white only wiring. If yours is of that period I would be talking to an electrician before hooking up any 240 wiring. Today, all white is unacceptable (Australian Standard). An electrician may advise (with good reason) all the 240v wiring be replaced as some also had dual 12v/240v light fittings where it may be easily mixed up. And fit a safety switch just for your own piece of mind!! By the way, the Olympic range would be right up there as the best vans manufactured in Australia. If looked after they will last forever. Bob

Thanks Bobshannon Yes your right the wiring was done in white and with an exposed earth. There will be a circuit breaker for the lights, fridge and power points.... just to be sure. Currently I am working for an electrical and air conditioning company. So I have been able to get their short lengths of new wire to rewire my van. Short lengths to them is less than 3.5 metres. FREE ....Can't beat that for a price. Struck a snag in trying to remove the old wiring that runs between the ceiling and roof of my van ceiling. It goes from the power plug on one side of the van to switches near the door on the other side. .....the wiring is stuck fast in place .... so it seems that I will be running it around the front instead. Arrh the joys of renovations. ..... anyone else had similar issues. Atog
