I am very late posting the Shellharbour info this year , I have been trying to sort a few things out.
I had a couple of requests to move the dates to include the Jamberoo Car show, which as far as i can work out falls on the last Sunday in October. It was too late to change the dates this year, but all future years have been changed. I'm not sure how the dates changed as we were originally there for the car show. Unfortunately we have lost a couple of sites and I will talk to the people affected about this, all sites are OK for this year.
This years dates are Wednesday 16th - Wednesday 23rd October. The number to call is 4295 1123 to pay your deposit and let the park know which days you will be there.
Looking forward to seeing you all there and fingers crossed we might just get some nice weather for a change.

Just a quick reminder re Shellharbour , if you haven't paid your deposit could you please do so . For our Saturday afternoon entertainment this year Sue suggested we all make a cake or a slice with Arnotts biscuits as one of the ingredients . These delicious treats will be judged by a panel of unbiased judges ( if I can find any ), and then consumed for afternoon tea . Any other suggestions for ideas to keep us entertained greatly appreciated, the card making was lots of fun last year .

All of the sites that were booked or on hold have now been filled . If anyone else would like to join us please call the caravan park and ask to be put near the Vintage van group .
Don't forget Saturday is the cake/slice making "competition" . All entries must have Arnott biscuits as one of the ingredients . I have only had one person put their hand up to be a judge , don't tell me I have to force people to take on this very important role 😄.
If anyone would like to do some outings while at Shellharbor, there is open garden's at Berry. See link berrygardens.org.au/berry-gardens-festival/ Also a couple of Rock and Roll dances, West Side Rockers, The Builders Club Wollongong. 8pm Friday, Mr James Band. $10. And on Sunday, Footloose social dance with DJ Ray at Albion park Bowls club, free. 5pm. Both clubs have good food and the people are very friendly.

Not long to go now until we all start heading to Shellharbour and as usual I seem to have upset the weather gods at this stage , we can only hope it improves . Has everyone been practising baking their favourite cake or slice using Arnotts biscuits as an ingredient , I hear a certain guy from up around Newcastle way has been having lessons . We have two judges so far and I am certain we can persuade one more person to help with the taste testing.
Another great weekend at Shellharbour, Great Caravans, Great People, Great Scenery and Great Weather with a nice cooling breeze. Also lovely sweets in the Arnotts Biscuits cook off. Thanks Jude, I think everyone had a great time.
