Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedHello fellow vanners...This one has probably done to death but here I go. From this forum I found out that the commonly seen tail light on heaps of older vans is the Hella Combination Rear Lamp...Part No. 2370. I have searched every where and I cant find any one who sells them, even though I am constantly told that they are commonly available? Like...where?

G'day oldcarharry, Have you trolled through the thread Stop Turn Tail lights ? ..I know it gets messy and regarding this particular light it keeps changing its part number. it would appear caravans plus have the equivalent Narva one at a darn good price. Have a look at this post and the following posts after it and you may get a few leads, if you find 'em let us know Cobber.

G'day oldcarharry, Your chances of finding the genuine Hella brand in Oz are fairly small. Most people seem to buy the Narva equivalent, but I'm not sure how readily available they are these days (you can order them from CaravansPlus - click here - but they don't have any in stock). If you have your heart set on getting the Hella brand, you have to search for them in New Zealand, where they were listed by a caravan parts supplier on TradeMe a year or so ago. (You can click on this TradeMe link and search through the current listings.) These lights seem to be getting as rare as hens teeth now, so if you come across any, grab 'em while you can. cheers, Al.

Oldcarharry, If you click on this link: Online Automotive , you'll see the Narva type for $15.30 each, which is at least 5 bucks cheaper than a few other websites that are selling them. cheers, Al.

G'day oldcarharry,
Hella part no. 47231 is the plastic red/orange lens that fits on the base. In the old days, if you cracked one of the lenses on your lights, you would go and buy/order part no. 47231 for a replacement. The base would still be in good nick, and you would just fit the new lens.
Part no. 2370 is the complete light - base plus plastic lens plus chrome surround.
And yes, festoon globes were standard for these lights. Do a little double-check of the globes to make sure none are 24V because these light fittings originally could be bought for both 12V and 24V end uses.
cheers, Al.

Qrht Steve Jobs and the music monopoly AU Microscopii (AU Mic) is a young red dwarf star of spectral type M, nike on shoes visible in the southern skies, air jordan 1 mid aj1 about 32 light years from us: almost eight times the distance that separates the Sun from Proxima Centauri, nike air force 1 07 the closest star. This small star has a mass just under a third of that of the Sun, an age estimated at just 12 million years and is surrounded by a vast protoplanetary disk. Its proximity and the inclination of the circumstellar disk, which is seen edge-on from Earth, have made AU Mic an interesting target for searching for any signs of planetary formation. Mysterious undulations. Now, thanks to the images and spectroscopic data obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope and with the 8.2-meter aperture Very Large Telescope (VLT) of ESO (Cerro Paranal Observatory,Chile), "strange undulations" have been discovered within the disk of gas and dust surrounding this young nearby star. The wave motion that was detected appears different from any other characteristic observed so far or predicted by theories for a circumstellar disk. An unexpected discovery. The observations, which were carried out with the SPHERE (Spectro-Polarimetric High-contrast Exoplanet Research) instrument applied to the VLT, were aimed at searching for densities or deformed structures in the disk, as clues to the possible presence of planets in the formation or who are going through their very early evolutionary stages. č¦However, our observations have shown that...

Hi all, We have had a series of very off topic, non-vintage caravan related messages on this thread recently from a 'guest' - presumably a bot. I have deleted all of the posts and banned the IP address of the originator, except the last one. I've left the last post up (but banned the IP address) because of Surf Tragic's very witty reply. I thought it was good enough to leave up for a while to give people a chuckle. Good riposte Surf Tragic. Don Ricardo for the admin team
