I have a set of old roof racks if anybody wants them... Length of tube is 1425mm. The bars seem to be complete, although a couple of different fittings are evident on the brackets. Yours for free. You don't have to take them in any hurry, you just have to say you want them. Otherwise they go to the scrap metal man. Depending on where you live, there might be opportunities to get them to you via Crows Nest Qld in July; Coledale in Oct; or the Nationals in 2012. cheers, Al.

G'day Al, Them there alloy brackets on your roof racks are the same as what i'm using on our travels, i've found them to be much stronger than the other pressed metal type.......which tend to crack and move around a bit. I replaced ours some 18 months back with your type and they sit tight as - zero movement. We carry 75 kgs on the roof which is quite a lot, but had no drama's at all. So, anyone after what i reckon is the best type of older style racks..........grab 'em ;D Kingy
