Hi Whippy, Thanks for getting the Victorian ball rolling. I'm not sure about February, but there was some discussion at the Vic Christmas function about a possible event in March. I only heard part of the proposal, but maybe somebody else can fill us in? A couple of other possibilities which are in the wind are: - A weekend get together at Badger Creek (near Healesville) in March/April
- A V V display event on the first weekend of November (to be confirmed)
- ...and of course, Cora Lynn in October
What are people's thoughts? Don Ricardo

Hey Whippy,
we will be going to Wilsons Prom (Tidal River) on either the second or third weekend in February. Still have to work out which is going to suit us best. We could make it a V V weekend if anybody else wants to join us.
I will post up when I know for sure but until then does anybody have a preference for either of those weekends?
Also how about Castlemaine around September?
Leigh.

Update on the V V camping weekend at Wilson's Prom in February.
At this stage I am looking favorably at the weekend of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th.
The Yarra Glen Swap is on the weekend before and the Ballarat Swap is on the weekend after. For those who are keen the Cranbourne Swap is on on the 20th, maybe a run back to there early or call in on the way home.
No bookings can be made, just a matter of roll up and grab a spot where you can but we will attempt to get the early arrivals to reserve a few spots together if possible.
Please let me know if you are coming so we can get an idea of numbers, some activities will be organised dependent on numbers attending. Post here or send me a P M.
Cheers, Leigh.

G'day Leigh,
The Prom sounds good, I'm keen to go but it'll depend on work.
Castlemaine sounds good too. If we get enough interest in that one I can try to organise a group booking on the steam train if people are keen?
Catch up with you soon.
Regards,
John

Hi Guys, I'm new to the community, but I'm keen to get to know as many of you as possible. I've recently bought a caravan park in Ballan Vic, and I'm currently refurbishing it so that I can open it as a short stay vintage van park. We will open in Feb, but we are shaping up to have an official opening festival at Easter. It will involve blues and swing and my entire park reserved for Vintage Vans and their owners. I will be throwing out official invitations soon, but would love to get some initial responses and thoughts. Hoping to get to know everyone, Van Park Man

Wilsons Prom sounds good. They have about thirty powered sites there now. Camping costs you but park entry is free. Hope to see you there. Rob & Julie C

Sorry we won't be there, Twiggy needs too much work, at least two weeks to get it right.

Looks like all the powered sites are gone but there will be plenty of unpowered ones left for those who still wish to come along.

Dave,
Have a look on page 1. There was a guy who owns a Caravan Park in Ballan who was going to have a grand opening at Easter. We haven't heard any more but contact him for details.
Karon and I have booked to go to Tassie with the Vagabond and Sportsman Teardrop for a week. Leaving Tuesday and returning Easter Monday night.
Hopefully we might catch up with a couple of the Tassie V Vers while we are there.
Leigh
