Hi, I noticed a Franklin Freeway somewhere is the forum that had the same sort of table that ours has. It looked like the front of the table (near the fridge) is higher than where it meets the front of the van in the same way ours is. Is there a reason for this? Is it just so that it's easier to get into the seats? Barbara B

Hi Barbara,
I am not a Freeway expert, but, I know when we first got our Freeway that table appeared to be quite level with the floor, so when I rebuilt the front end of the van I made sure it was still quite level - wouldn't want to spill my hot chocolate cause the table wasn't even....

Hi, thanks for that. I think we'll adjust it to be level. Barbara B

Hi, another question - in some threads, I've seen a silver tape used on the edge of the seats to add a bit of "bling". What is the tape called please, and where do you buy it? Barbara B

Hi Barbara B
The table in my "Freeway is parallel with the floor. Yours should be also be level.
I had a problem where there was not a lot of room between the table and the fridge, making it hard to get in on that side. By installing a a strong metal draw runner ( which I obtained from the company who installed my new kitchen) to the end of the table that butts to the wall, I am able to get into the seat quite comfortable by moving the table over enough then pulling the table back after I'm seated

Hi Barbara, I'm not quite sure what you're describing when you say "silver tape" and edge of seats. Do you mean the plastic insert that fits like this?... If that's what you're talking about, I don't know of anywhere where you can buy it. It's probably still made by somebody for something, but I have no information to help. cheers, Al.
