The Resident Restoration King strikes again we have only owned her 3 weeks never set him a time limit... Her chassis number is 1853 we need some more windows I think would really love to know what year she is.... but for now will just enjoy the ride Wintersun here we come......

G'day 564dor, Chassis number 1853 is likely to be from around 1961/62. Don't ask me to explain why I think that, because it involves a very, very complicated computer program I have that looks at things like the tide charts and sunshine levels to reach its conclusion. You can have a look at the list of vans we've collected in the Globe Trotter history section, and see where yours fits in to the chassis number list. Scroll down the first part of the history... Globe (Trotter) caravans - Bowden SA.What did you do with the piece of cladding that's got the Globe Trotter logo on it?? Would be worth keeping that for future reference in case you want to duplicate that logo on your restored van. cheers, Al.
