Hey you southerners! Rubiks Kube will be starring at the Melbourne Caravan and Camping Show on the 9th to 14th March. It would be a great opportunity to catch up/meet with some of you while I'm down there! What about organising something around the weekend before or after those dates??? Well, you don't HAVE to - - - - it's only a suggestion At least you wouldn't have to pay an entry fee to see her ;D ;D ;D Ray

Please don't let my presence down there dictate your venues. Have lived in Melbourne myself and realise that nothing is that far away in Vic. Would Blairgowrie be a dog-friendly park, as I will be travelling with my mascot Mr Jack Roehm?
Speaking of which, if anyone knows a good kennel down there, could you please PM me, as I will have to board him during the show.
Thanks
Ray

Hi,
If Blairgowrie is a goer, then we are happy to again offer our property at Rye for a Bar B Q etc. We will be away early March but should be back in time for the dates mentioned by Leigh.

Sorry folks, looks like no takers at the moment.
We may revisit this in the New Year.
Just to remind you the dates were:
Feb 19/20/21 Paynesville?
March 19/20/21 Blairgowrie?
April 16/17/18 Castlemaine?

Hi RobC, No, I don't think you are computer illegitimate - this thread is a bit confusing at this stage. The reason is that there have been several suggestions made about possible Victorian events for 2010, but none actually given the thumbs up at this point. Having said that the following will be happening: 1 & 2 May - Get together at the Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally 10 to 14 May - Vintage Caravan Nationals at Mildura Early October - Get together at the Cora Lyn Country Car show Some people will be travelling together from Lake Goldsmith to Mildura as part of the Meander Down the Murray. Admittedly the first two events aren't specifically Victorian runs, but they will certainly give you a great opportunity to debut not only amongst your fellow Victorians but a national audience! What more could an enthusiastic DEB ask for? Don Ricardo

G'day builderdes, I'm going at this stage, haven't been given the all clear at work yet but don't think it'll be a problem. Was planning on heading up Friday arvo/evening as well. Maybe we could form a convoy? If others are going, maybe we could meet at somewhere like the servo at the westgate bridge? Just a thought. Cheers, John

G'day Glynn, Good idea! Have just spent the weekend at Warburton. Beautiful spot but really cold. It even made Lake Goldsmith look warm! I know that sportsman1 put up some suggestions earlier in the year but can't remember where or when they were? Having spent 3 out of 5 weekends away in the van, I'm keen to keep going. ;D Maybe we could do something like the NSW gang are doing and have a Christmas in July? Grampians? Mt Dandenong? It'll be cold, but could be fun. Just a thought.............. Cheers, John
