Has anyone info on or where i could find out about Good Time Caravans in Sydney,i recently met and old chap who worked there in 1961 and asked if i could find out some info for him .

G'day cootoz, We don't have much info on Goodtime caravans... what we do have can be found in DHL HERE so.... I don't think that will help your friend much but........ if he can add to what we have that would be great Cobber.

In my archive collection, I have an advertisement from March 1955 showing Goodtime Caravans as a Sales and Hire outlet. In the same advertisement they also mentioned "Tow bars, Spare parts, Box trailers, etc". The address at that time was 177 Russell Ave., Dolls Point [which is not that far from the later address in Rockdale].
So it seems that Goodtime Caravans were around for a few years at least. I can't go back any earlier than 1955, but it looks like they were alive and kicking before that.

Cobber , thanks that its a great start,old Kev will be thrilled with that,i printed it out for him,he says people would walk through the factory pick out what they would like in there new caravavan ,they would load it on to a chassis bits and pieces etc and they would go and do there own do it your self caravan.
