Hi all,
Whilst I've successfully used P B before, I've recently moved from a PC to a Mac. My problem is that whilst I can download the photos into P B, I can't post them to this forum.
I've read (and re-read) the instructions, and was wondering if there is any special/other method to use with a Mac system?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi Max, these computers can be a real pain when they don't work properly, eh?! Whatever the problem is, it will be something "simple". Sometimes Photobucket and this forum get muddled up working together, and you just have to give up and go fishing I presume you sent your post above on your new Mac. So at least we know your Mac and this forum are talking with each other. I also presume you've uploaded photos to Photobucket using your new Mac, so therefore we know your computer and Photobucket are talking with each other ok. That's two sides of the triangle working well. The third side is Photobucket talking with this forum. And that's really a matter of copying the IMG Code from underneath your photo, and pasting that Code into your forum thread (...sounds like I'm telling you how to suck eggs, but bear with me...) So the best way I've found to test if PB is talking with this forum ok, is to create a 'pretend' new thread on this forum, call it "Photo test" in the Subject field, and then copy and paste the IMG Code from one of your PB photos into that pretend thread. Then click on the [Preview] button at the bottom of the thread window and wait to see if the photo shows in the Preview pane. If that works ok, then all is well on the third side of the triangle. You can then just close that window (or Tab) without actually posting the thread to the forum. If the IMG Code is not converting to a photo in the Preview pane, there has to be a problem in the Copy and Paste process. I don't use a Mac, but the [Copy] and [Paste] process would be the same on both types of computers I would guess. Your pasted string of IMG Code characters should look like this: [ IMG]http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/macola51/1977Millardwatertapcomposite.jpg[/IMG] **without the space after the very first bracket. Check that the boxes are showing properly at either end of the string of characters. I noticed today that Photobucket wasn't automatically copying the IMG Code when I highlighted it, as per previously. I had to highlight the code and then do the usual [Edit - Copy] and [Edit - Paste] routine manually (...that is soooo 'yesterday' ). So something's changed in the way PB is operating for me. Good luck. If all else fails, dud computers make good steps outside the doors of V.Vs ;D ;D cheers, Al.

Al,
You're a genius. It wasn't until I got down to your last paragraph of "soooo yesterday", that I could get it to work. You're right, something must have happened between P B & this forum.
The results I'll now post in Members Photos.
With thanks again for your efforts & assistance.
