G'day All,
I recently won the ebay auction for a Highway Caravans brochure, showing their range of vans, accessories, equipment, etc. This caravan building company was located in Brighton, Victoria, and the brochure seems to be from about the mid 1950s.
You are free to download and save all eight pages of the brochure, if you wish, for your information and enjoyment.
As you can see from pages 1 and 8 showing here, I've superimposed a colourful "credit" to this website on each page. You will need to marry the 8 pages into 4 to make the original brochure (...have fun with the jigsaw puzzle ). The links to pages 2 to 7 are given in between the two pages showing...

pages 2 to 7

page 8
I found the brochure interesting for a number of reasons, including the listing of equipment...brand names, etc, which helps us date some of our stuff.
I also wanted the brochure because the design of the 15 foot "Road Cruiser" (left-hand van page 1 above) is very similar to the design of my "Franklin" (compare photo below with photo above), except my Franklin has aluminium framed side windows, and the Highway appears to be timber. Both have the double front window close together. Was this design a common one in the mid 1950s?...
Hope you enjoy the brochure!
cheers,
Al.
