Hi Sutcac and Geoff & Jude, Thanks for the info and the link for Stephen&julie's Pathfinder. I should have recognised it shouldn't I! I must say I really like the front window treatment with those large side windows almost joining up with the front windows. I reckon it must feel like you're in some sort of glass conservatory or something when you're sitting at the table. Details of the van haven't been recorded on the Pathfinder thread in DHL, although we have an advert for that model. Must remedy that. Don Ricardo

Twas yet another great V Van event . Thanks to Smiles for organising. Many highlights. Great to celebrate Dennis and Sues wedding anniversary on the Sat Night. Terrific to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Always great to see new vans for the first time. Rogers early Olympic with fantastic timber work and unreal glazing. The beaut Airstream and Kennedy (Skyline) and many others. Selling our 13 ' Sunny sight unseen to an interstate couple on Saturday night and buying a 16' Sunliner ( project) on Sunday night!! Not to mention the BEST of all. Collecting the winning State of Origin bet of Dark and Stormies from Reddo for the nineth time !!!!!!! p Ooops! Nearly forgot. Seeing Mrs Sutcac standing up on Earlees paddle board at the first attempt only 6 months after her double knee replacement surgery. Go Barb!!

I noticed Mr Sutcac that you did not mention the inaugural Evans Head fishing comp won handsomely by Mr formally known as Reddo representing NSW.

Thanks to all who have covered this event. Good to see some great vans, familiar faces and good old style forum banter. Wish we could have been there, it was a favourite camping spot back in the 70's and 80's before we moved north. Bruce

Wow it was so awesome to reconnect with my vintage caravan "family" again at Evans Head and what a lovely spot! Apart from a slight peeling of the tan from lolling about in the river all day, I came back from this event feeling soooo much better for the awesome company, sunshine & salt water, laughs and even the road trip itself... Blissful! I got heaps of cool photos (never been much good at the photobucket thing, sorry!) but I am going to put them and the full story (too many wow moments to mention...) in the next issue of Vintage Caravan Magazine. Thank you all for being patient with me while I sought the right treatment for my RA and thanks also to everyone for all your amazing support and encouragement while I have been unwell! The letters, the cards, the phone calls and the hugs. You guys rock! I'm feeling the love <3 Good news is that thanks to my amazing doctor, it looks like we may have finally found a treatment that has given me back my mojo and filled me with renewed zest to get back on track and out doing my thing again. Yay! Pretty keen to jump "back in the saddle" so to speak, Betty and I will be having a stall at the Redlands Rockabilly Revival on Sunday the 13th March at the Cleveland Showgrounds south of Brisbane so please come up and say Hi if you're around... Oh and issue 28 is in production now and will be off to all subscribers and in newsagents very, very soon! Woohooo! Subscriptions are available from www.vintagecaravanmagazine.com
