I realize this is in the wrong area to post this, but who cares!! Without elaborating to much Dennis and self are so touched by all the phone calls we have received from our V.V friends. It just makes you sit back and think Wow what a great group of sincere friends you all are. It has been great for Dennis to be able speak to each and everyone of you. He actually said well obviously I am not considered a cranky old buggar altogether. He said just the other day that some of our best memories are from the V.V people and I would agree. So whilst I am waiting for my pretzels to dry I will say a BIG THANKYOU from us both for your support. Sue x

PS , I will try and keep that terrible Reddo man away from you so you don`t get injured.
Cheers the Strugglers Pam and John.

Hi John & Pam
Fantastic you're coming! What a shame you hadn't told us sooner, we could have brought the Propert down to Evans for you! LOL!
Yes Reddo & I have discussed previous alleged injurious events & Ive agreed to let him do the washing up next time! No reason to break a leg in order to get the dishes done!
We'll be getting there on Wed & leaving Sun so should be great!
Cheers Cathie & Rob & Scud

Jean & Kev are bringing a gazebo for group area. Can someone bring their moveable magic music machine (MMMM)?
Restaurant booked for 45 bottoms on seats for Sat night.
Friday night, can everyone just make a food contribution for a group meal? Nibbles? Small Salad? Buns? Whatever you like at a Barbie.

Hi all
Casey, the Park Manager has let me know that 53 people are booked into Evans Head. I only had 45 on my list. So can Eddy Fryk, Julie Lindsay, Bob Taylor, Roger Horn, & Lorraine Treves let me know their plans re shared events ASAP?
I need to know numbers by Wednesday afternoon to give to Casey for the butchers free meat tray. She has to order the meat from the local butcher, then get it to us by 5pm Friday. If snags & rissoles aren't your thing, then feel free to bring along fillet steak (to share of course)!
I also promised to give final numbers on Wednesday to Chinese restaurant for Sat dinner. I will need above people to contact me as well thanks re their plans.
There are only 2 free BBQs out the front of our area so if anyone else can bring their BBQ along that will be great. We'll bring our baby Weber.
Allie & Paul have kindly offered to bring their massive gas powered camp oven, so perhaps Thursday & Sunday nights we can improvise a meal around that!
Just let me know on Friday evening if you're wanting to go on Aviation Museum tour Sat morning.
Anyway it's looking like a good event, even the planets are lining up for it. All 5. See you there

A big thank you to Cathie for the organizing of this event. Certainly one of the Biggest get togethers for awhile. This has taken quite a bit of Organizing on Cathies part. So please do the right thing by her.And notify Cathie of your Plans, As she can then notify the park and chinese of intending numbers. Simple request. Sue, Boots

I booked a site to go to this event, but I was never sure whether I would well enough due to my new chemo program. I had servere reaction, -- thus cancelled. Come last Sunday I was feeling up to driving to Evans Head and went and met up with my many friends, missed a few who had already left for home. I had a great day sitting in the shade with many VVers. It appeared to me it was one of the better events we have ever had , with good numbers and some new vans. The weather was little on the hot side at 37 degrees. Thanks to those who posted the photos, great job. Thanks for having me for the day unannounced. Cheers boblor

Hi Evans Headers, What a great lot of vans together for the weekend. Thanks to everyone for posting all the photos - fantastic for all of those who weren't there to see. Sunliners in abundance (including a couple of biggies), a Skyline Kennedy, Olympics, a Mini Star, Expandavan...lots of fibreglass, eh? But nice to see some bondies and a couple of ally vans as well. I was intrigued to see the van in Neilncheryl's photo above. Can anybody from the Evans Head event tell us anything about it? Did it have any branding? Don Ricardo
