Hi Everyone I came across this interesting vintage caravan on a Facebook page, thought I would share. Anybody know whose it is?

Hi oldbitsmadenew
What a great looking thing, I'd feel like the 'king of the castle' with that behind the Vauxhall with its matching fins. Can't help but feel I'd have to throw an outboard on it too.

Hi,
Don't know who owns it, but it is a Kennedy. They produced a small number with the tail fins in the late 50's in Melbourne, from memory.
There have been a lot of photos of them on here in the past, but they dont often get to be seen.

Whatever happened to the fellow who was restoring one of these??? From memory, his tow vehicle was a Jag and he lived in Tassie??

Ray, you're probably thinking of exocet in Tasmania, who owned it before selling it to richard in Sydney in 2011. Richard has apparently been working away on restoring the van ever since (sounds like me... ), but a lot of the photos in his thread are no longer showing: 59 Kennedy/Wayfarer "Finny"By the time you get to Page 4 of his thread, you can see this photo of where he was up to back in Jan 2012. Haven't heard much from him since late last year though. Doesn't seem to be any photos posted on the forum by exocet during the time he owned it. cheers, Al.

Yes Franklin, it was richard I was thinking of, as I'm sure he took ages to find a suitable van for that Jag. I thought there was that Tassie connection, but wasn't quite right. Good thing you're younger than me!!! Ray

Hi Everyone
From the post that this photo came from, the person had just purchased the van, it also stated that it has Zepher rear on it. I hope the owner of it surfaces at some time, I would love to see it up close.

Hi,
The vans were built to accept Mark 2 , 1958/59 Ford Zephyr tail lights. Everything else is fibreglass.
