This might be for sale, we just want to research it a bit first. Viscount caravan purchased from Adelaide around 1955 it has only had one owner and has been sitting in our garage unused for around 38 years in original condition except for curtains. Located in Euroa, Victoria. has anyone seen one of these for sale or know how much they sell for? Any information would be great. Thanks. Hi Cassie
Your Viscount looks lovely - and very well kept. I'm sure it will attract a lot of attention given its state of repair.
However (from our Guidelines) the value of vintage caravans varies widely according to the age, scarcity, condition and desirability of the caravan in question. In the end, the value of a caravan depends on what one person is willing to pay another at a given time, based on their specific interests and preferences. For this reason we ARE NOT ABLE to assist in valuing caravans.
Best of luck Seeshell

G'day Cassie, It seems like you could get these early Viscounts with any interior colour... as long as it was pink. Your van would have to be the fourth or fifth van I've got photos of from that era, and all show pink cupboard doors. Would you do me a favour please, and look for the chassis number welded on the front drawbar, just beside the jockey wheel somewhere? Here is a photo of Viscount #33 so you know where to look for it... thanks, Al.

Thanks for all your comments. Al, I have seen your photos over the net when i have been hunting for info on the viscount! I just checked the number on the drawbar it is on the opposite side that yours is the number is 5 98 (unsure about the 8 the third number is 8 or 2) its a bit hard to read.
